It seems there may be deleted scenes on the Transformers DVD. Paramount have had them rated by the BBFC. There is also going to be 3 easter eggs on disc 2.

Weren't some of those deleted scenes the ones included in the IMAX cut that Bay claimed would never be only any DVD release?

 

Claimed it would never be in the movie on dvd. Still isn't.
Extras are different. And whats the point of having deleted scenes on the disc, if you don't include them all? So yay!

Things are tricky like that, even with the toy comments. What they say is usually exactly what they say, just slightly different. Unless that employee doesn't get it either, then the comments start getting off base. Bay for example literally means what he stated as opposed to not being on the dvd entirely. Another would be Classics is dead, long live classics 2.0/universe. xD

Or Justice League is canceled, but we'll be airing a new show called Justice League unlimited. Etc. Similiar to what will probably eventually happen to The Batman as well. Of course, they also said no league guests till JLU is off the air.

OK, actually, it's like hidden stuff. The type of thing you find by putting the pointer on a certain part of the menu and then tapping left-right-left-right-down-right-left on your remote and suddenly, *BAM* you're watching a freaky clown dance to some song that would make children cry. Or at least, that's how it went on that one Beast Wars disc.

I hope we get the deleted scenes. I thought the ones included in the IMAX release actually made things flow a little nicer in all but a couple spots (no need to extend the cop scene).

 

I didn't care for the extended Hoover-Dam sequence, or the car one (not a big Simmons fan - the character was needed, but how he came across - I'd have preferred Banachek - a jerk, but not a weird, corny one).

On the other hand - if the US doesn't seem to be getting these "extras", then I will again be glad of my region-free... cuz it may be worth the extra to import (depending on how much - Headmasters is now on my holiday list hehe).

 

It's hard to imagine them not making it over here.

But really, thanks for explain the concept of easter eggs. I might have to go back through some of my other dvds to see if they have any.

I agree I hope thse are added in.

 

The deleted scenes would be nice, but won't make any difference in my purchase. I just hope that there might be some uber-directors cut later on that has some really good stuff (bot action) put in it.
