    Find a pen or something with the same width spring and cut or stretch it to the right length. Have you gone over the area you lost it in with a magnet yet?

    Oh NICE! A process like this sounds potentially messy, but you made everything fit together smoothly! I really ought to try this on some of my own TR figs some time.

    Since Octane is just starting to come out I guess this is worth the bump.

    Assuming you did, how did you manage to split the casing for the spring mechanism into halves? The top part appears to be glued together as per this diagram, and I'm having trouble getting it apart on mine.

    Pretty sure there are screws at the bottom on each side

    There are, but for whatever reasons the bits I highlighted in the image are glued together preventing it from splitting apart even once the screws are removed.

    Interesting, laser prime wasn't glued there. Try and pick off the glue with a hobby knife or screwdriver?
