Would you rather the show have a great ending but only 3 seasons or more seasons (based on popularity) with a chance of losing direction and fizzling out past it's "prime"?

Definite ending, occurring within the span of three seasons.

 

I'd go with the latter, so that it can end well, before it starts to stink. That and I want to see a new take on a Transformers cartoon before I'm thirty.

 

This question stemmed from the LOST series. I believe the series could have went on for a while longer but its time was up. Interested in how far Prime will go and how it will stop/end.

 

Neither, I think they should plan out more than 3 seasons; while still keeping a good grasp on direction and plot.

From my understanding, they're currently making more and more animation models for Prime. The more seasons they have, the more animation models they can make. The more animation models they make, the more they can make the Transformers Prime universe into a living breathing reality.

If the series ends with 3 seasons, then the Transformers world would probably still feel too lifeless and empty. It would be too short to realize its potential.

Also, the way things are going. I don't think Transformers Prime has reached the same popularity as G1. I'm not even sure how recognized the series is in various countries. The way things are, I think if it ends within 3 seasons it will just fade into obscurity.

So far, I think appeal for the series is isolated within the existing Trasformers fan community. But I think it should invoke a more widespread appeal from all walks of life from different countries and ages. But it hasn't yet.

 

I agree with you on your take Flashdisk. I was just wondering if we only had those options to choose, where would most of us go based on our current positions.

 

With the pace the story is going so far I want over 9000 episodes.

 

3 or 4 seasons. Than something new in another style and without CGI. If the latter is not supposed to happen, then you might as well continue...

I want it on long enough that when it's gone everyone misses it and regrets sayign all the bad things about the show....

As for me I hope it lasts more then one season but if they do to at least at 3 then that'll be enough. Just as long as it doens't get canceled that's all.

Besides season 3's already been confirmed to be happing long ago so that's a start thankfully.  

 

Why would I regret saying bad things about the show? That's kinda stupid.

 

i dont want it to end at all, but if i had to choose, long ending, i would rather have some prime, than none at all....

 

I'd say go with the Justice League method. Write each season finale as a series finale, then try and figure out how to write yourself out of the hole later.

 

Everyone hated TFA but after it was cancelled ever one loved it and now they want it back.

I just want Prime to be loved by everyone....even if it means cancelling it to have it achieved.

 

I agree with Thilda. I like the show but I need more from each episode.
