FULL defiance #3 cover EDIT: here's the full version of the below attachment of the bulletholes and josh's signature () --------------------- I stumbled upon hi-rez covers for defiance #3 (megatron unblacked), defiance #4, and also a fantastic looking super hi rez image of the long haul concept. Nizzi is great and I don't want to get him into any trouble with his bosses so I have to check with him first before I post anything, but just by some means of evidence, #3 has red glows shooting upwards from his eyes towards the top of the page, #4 is of a fight between two characters one of which is full of bullet holes and looking like they are about to meet their maker, and the original artwork for long haul is 2450x1932 pixels. Just to avoid a thread filled with nothing but 'this thread is useless without pics', there is a picture of a couple of bullet holes attached. *DISCLAIMER* No hackery or illegal means were employed to obtain the images. EDIT: sorry to be a tease but he doesn't want defiance #4 and long haul shown, although he assures me that as soon as IDW give the go-ahead you'll get to see more of the image than just the bullethole sneak peek i showed. feel free to have some fun guessing though! it looks fantastic though, you won't be disappointed, and I was very surprised by it. on the other hand though, here's defiance #3, high res with megatron unblacked, having read some of defiance now, i'm guessing that this image shows the founding of the decepticons:
Just so you know, we've seen both these images before. #3 was at NY Comicon, and #4 was on the web before then. Just not in SUPAH HI RES. So. We'd like to see em. In Supah Hi Res.
no, the version that you have seen of #4 is of megatron kneeling, not of two robots fighting and one full of bullet holes. nizzi is online, he said i can post them but he had the wrong idea about where they came from so maybe not, should have answer in a few mins
No, Number 4 is Megatron and Earth-Mode Prime fighting. I've got the image on my harddrive - it was in a preview for Aprils comics. See?
no, that is not the image. if you can point out to me exactly where in that image there are bullet holes in a robot next to an orange JOSH signature, fair enough. i'm not allowed to show it on Josh's request but you won't be disappointed, it is MUCH better than that one, and no doubt it will be shown soon as it's all finished and ready to go. i've posted the full version of #3 on page 1.
Nice, Nizzi can draw the movie bots better than anyone I've ever seen. They look just as good as the CGI renders! Really would have guessed that it was the new ROTF Megatron on the Defiance #3 cover - looking back at it now, especially compared to the new tank version, it was a really horrible design. Any new characters on the Defiance #4 cover? Or are they TFs from the first film?
