With both FP Defender and the club exclusive P/CP costing me about $90-100 I'm trying to decide which I should get, or atleast get first

Defender is a completely new mould with die cast.
C/CP is a pre made $15 mould with new paint.

    Do I want both? YES
    Will I get both? NO

    My call is Defender.

*EDIT, DOES ANY TF FAN CLUB MEMBER WANT TO HELP ME OUT AND GET ONE FOR ME FOR $59? I WILL PAY MEMBER PRICE FOR IT BUT I DONT THINK CANADIANS CAN BECOME MEMBERS. PM ME THANKS

    Thanx

I'm getting both. It depends on which you want more. But I agree with Transbot, Defender.
    Defender pros
    1. He's a more known Character
    2. He has 2 alt modes
    3. He's closer to a Voyager size
    4. New mold with die cast
    P/CP pros
    1. He's already Hasbro (Hasbro may come out with more affordable Springer as some point)
    2. He's a fan favorite Character. Less widely known as he hasn't been in any Cartoons or movies yet. But people still adore him
    3. He has 2 robot modes, which is is less common for a "Triple Changer"

I'm sure there are other pros/cons about each. Not being Hasbro, Springer looks like he's missing an Autobot emblem on his chest. So I may buy a sticker sheet from reprolabels and put one on.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm getting Defender. However, it is a toss up between Knight Morpher Commander and P/CP. With Botcon coming up, my step-son needing braces and other financial factors, I'm only getting one or the other. I just can't decide.

I know P/CP is a remold but, he is an Icon. KMC is from a new company but, he looks nice. Decisions, decisions.

P/CP. Defender really doesn't look that great. Plus it has die cast, which is auto-fail.

Correct, Punch Counterpunch utters the immortal line "be careful, my Autobot brother might be near, real near" in Rebirth to the Decepticon Clones.

He's the one I'm going for, simply because I really love the design and the concept behind it.

I would say Springer (Defender) but I did preorder P/CP as well.

Both will go up to INSANE PRICES soon because scalpers are buying them up like crazy. If you can pop out that Credit card, i'd say get both. Otherwise, your going to get one at retail and pay 150+ for the other.

I went for P/CP. However, I can't really say which figure is better, since I don't actually own any of them yet. I'd say either one is a worthy purchase, though.

I'd say Defender. Before it came out, I was going to skip it but the reviews pushed me over the edge. It's just too awesome.

I pre-ordered Punch/Counterpunch because I love the old G1 toy, but honestly you can't go wrong with either.

I'd get both. I pre ordered both as soon as I heard about them, but I'm a sucker for limited products. If you gotta choose one, I'd consider getting Defender. Overall better figure I think.

I was on the fence about Defender but since I'm spending $60 on P/CP the $80 for Defender doesn't seem so bad.

If you can only get one I would get P/CP since he'll sell out faster. Not-Springer will last longer and if you don't particularly care about it whethr it's the Springer color scheme or not you can wait until the Fansproject does the inevitable repaint. P/CP IS THE inevitable repaint and even if Takara did him it would cost more then $60.

I'm not going to buy P/CP considering I'm not a huge fan of the Lambo mold to begin with, certainly not enough to pay $100 for one.

I went with Defender, but I plan to get P/CP as well ... IF stock holds out long enough for me to pay off my credit card first.

Get Punch first, because he will sell out first. Then get Defender too when you can, but don't wait too long.
