Just shipped my pile of loot this week and finally got to experience the goodness that is FansProject Protector. However, whilst putting it together, it appears that the left boot piece's sole cannot flip all the way up, like the other side. There is an extraneous plastic piece not present on the other boot that is blocked by the wheel. I apologize if this has been covered before on the forums or in a review, but this is perplexing me. Has anyone else experienced this or am I just missing something more in the transformation?

    Edit: picture included now.

Kinda looks like a misassembly, with the wrong foot put in place. Contact BBTS for a replacement.

I don't have my armor yet either, but I would wager a guess that might be the foot for the other left attached to that ankle. Maybe the armor was mis-assembled with, two right or left feet?

The strange thing is that the right boot doesn't have that at all. Or rather, has that piece pushed all the way over as to make room for the wheel. I wonder if there is a way I can disassemble it myself to fix it...

Just show that pic off to the guys at BBTS, and they'll replace the part (or the toy) for you.

Agreed. It looks to be for the opposite foot.

I see what happened. The feet have inserts and you got two of the same ones. No way to reassemble it, but you could probably just cut that part that hits the wheel out with if you don't want to go through the hassle of replacing it.

As people here have noticed you've got two same feet, posibly two right ones. You're best bet is to return that to BBTS for a replacement, if they still have any. If they don't, try tracking an another collector whose armor has two feet of the other kind, and do a swap with him. But that will mean that you will have to hammer out the pin that is keeping that foot connected to the leg. The same goes for the other guy.

Getting a replacement from the retailer/manufacturer should always be your first step (Pardon the pun) before doing any surgery.

A foot swap won't work. The foot is built with parts from a left AND a right.

The foot needs to be replaced or modded.

It looks like you have two of the same foot, one of which was installed upside down. BBTS will send you a replacement part no problem, use your pics to better illustrate your issue and it should be cleared up in a few days.
