Hey guys, with all the talk about the new voyager figure called deep dive,I wanted to speculate about it,so let me know what all yall think.

Even tho I hope its a new mold figure,I think it could just be a repaint of Sea Spray. And with a name like that you just assume its something like a submarine since they can go so deep.Sure airplanes can dive in the air to flee from other planes but its not really the same.

Lastly a few more thing, usually repaints don't get released that fast,as it takes 2 or more waves after the first release, and if it is just a repaint it should be a homage to the 80's gobot dive dive, that would be so cool in all gray.

It's been about four waves since Seaspray's release (he was Wave 1, this would be wave 5). I agree with you, sounds like a submarine, but a Seaspray repaint would make sense. There was, after all, a battleship named Deep Dive in TF Cybertron.

Highbrow and Fallen are Wave 3, so you're up to date. Wave 4 hasn't been released yet, it'll be the first Reveal the Shield Voyager wave with Grapple, Lugnut and Strafe.

Me too! Or at least some kind of submarine, it's an alt mode you don't see that often. Probably because there's only so many ways to make a robot fold up into a tube shape and still be cool.

Same here. Dive-Dive was my first out of a handful of Gobots, and he definitely had a good design.

If it is a Seaspray repaint, I hope it's dark colors like navy blue or battleship gray.

I thought Sea Spray was a great mold. I don't know any repaint that would make it look "better" in a sense of having the sense of an sea vehicle transformer, so we will see.

I'd REALLY like to see a Depthcharge homage out of Seaspray, but back on topic. Deep Dive is probably a Seaspray repaint, considering if it was a new mold, we'd have seen pictures by now.

I was thinking Hydrodive Bumblebee but that would be crazy right? Probably just Seaspray repainted with a rub symbol.

Rumble/Frenzy Two-Pack as a nod to MTMTE when Rumble "dives deep" to bottom of the ocean to cause a tidal wave. Hasbro only wants to call it Deep Dive to avoid more Rumble Red Frenzy Blue/Frenzy Red Rumble Blue debates.

Doubt it and it's most likely a Seaspreay repaint

i don't think its a seaspray repaint i preordered him on bbts and noticed deep dives shipping weight was 1.40lbs and seasprays was 1.33lbs so i'm guessing a whole new mold!!!

I would bet money that it is a Seaspray repaint.

We haven't seen a repaint of the mold announced yet, but we know he'll likely get one soon. He turns into a diver. He is Voyager-scaled. Aquatic-mode Transformers are comparatively rare (and the name suggests an aquatic mode).

I will be shocked if it is anything other than a Seaspray repaint.

Most likely a Seaspray repaint but a new mold Decepticon nemesis proper for Seaspray would be awesome. Ya know, instead of just picking on poor Crankstart.

while I like the Seaspray mold, I kinda hope it will be something new. But I'm sure it will be a repaint. As long as it sells well since Seaspray isn't selling too well in my area.

Given the name, I would think its some type of sub transformer.
