    Ebay:
I have some money right now and there's a choice I have to make between these six figures.
    MP Skywarp
    TRU MP Rodimus Prime
    MP 3G-Ghost Starscream
    MP Grimlock
    Encore G1 Sky Lynx
Takara MP-09 Rodimus (either version A or B)

I would list MP-10 Convoy but I'm waiting for more reviews to see if he's worth ponying up 250 bucks or at least meets my standards.
Though for some,I'm close to the money needed and others I still have to wait a couple of weeks to have the money that's necessary.

    Tell me about it.

I have hard time with Decision all the time, especially trying to order take-out with my family, we have hard time with what certain people like.

If not factoring in price, I would go with
    MP Grimlock
    MP-09 Convoy
MP-03G (though ghosts arn't for everyone)
    TRU MP Rodimus
    MP Skywarp
    Encore Skylynx

Though, if I had the other two MP seekers, Skywarp would move up my list. TRU MP Rodimus should probably be infront of Ghosty, but I am a seeker whore. Also, you could probably get MP Skywarp and TRU Roddy together for less than some of the other figures. Many of us have MP Skywarp in our sales thread (including me).

That MP Grimlock is pretty cool. I don't know about Rodimus, but I have one (TRU) on the way. The MP Starscream/seekers seem kind of flimsy to me. I wouldn't mind an encore Sky Lynx myself.

MP-Grimlock is my favorite from that list.

Grimlock, then TRU Rodimus or the fixed Takara version.

Bite on the TRU MP Rodimus now. Then spend the money you saved (as opposed to getting MP09) on Sky Lynx and Skywarp. :lol

I like my MP Skywarp, but that was a personal choice rather than a logical weighing of alternatives.

I have MP Roddy, Grimlock and Skywarp. Although I don't have the MP Ghost Screamer, I do have the regular Wal-mart MP version (which I think is better, but that's just my opinion so take it just as that). If I had to give my advice on which I think you should choose though...I mean, in all honesty, you can't really go wrong w/ anything on your list, but first things first...I'd say go with the King! Grimlock! There. Nuff said.

For as much reputation as each of your choices have, most are not actually that interesting. You can find cheaper, smaller variants that are just as satisfying. That's especially true with the seekers and Hot Rod. Grimlock, depends on if you can accept the Animated aesthetic.

I'm not saying any of them are bad, just underwhelming for the price.

No idea about Sky Lynx, though.

I would actually recommend you look at some Macross stuff. Most of it is awesome and priced in your same range, with the exception of exclusive things, rare things, and some Yamato stuff.

    My suggestions:

A Bandai released Takatoku VF-1, same mold as G1 Jetfire.
A Yamato VF-1, a later revision so you don't run into the shoulder break problems.
    A Bandai Hi-Metal VF-19.
A Bandai DX VF-17 or VF-19, though only if you enjoyed the Takatoku VF-1.
    A Bandai VB-6 Konig Monster.

Not much point in ignoring all his wants and suggesting expensive [most of them] toys from a line he might not even have heard.

If you have the patience, I'd advise against buying any of the MP seekers. A new mould is coming in the upcoming months which may make the old one obsolete.

I personally prefer TRU Hot Rod to the japanese version [have both]. Colours are darker and richer, plus mine is top notch in quality. *If* the second batch of takara's run is fixed, you might want to go for that.

MP Grimlock is aces, pick one up as soon as you can. Hasbro or takara, there's little difference.

It's still cool stuff and most is within the same price range as the stuff he's talking about getting. By my experience with most of the things he's thinking about getting, many are a bit underwhelming, so I gave him some alternatives to ponder that I would recommend.

I dont care for Rodimus in any incarnation...

I just LOVE my Skywarp, and every time I look at it, pick it up, fool with it, I am VERY happy I bought that.
