Well it wasn't looking like a third party was going to step up and I wasn't buying the same figures twice to get the targetmasters so thought I'd make my own. Ingredients are 3 powercore minicons and 3 Lego technic pegs. The technic peg on calibursts back allows you to mount the gun there making it look nice and g1. Left to right are blowpipe, aimless and caliburst for triggerhappy, misfire and slugslinger.
I'm surprised third parties and then KO companies haven't released packs of transforming/regular 5mm handled weapons for action figures. All any nefarious company has to do is copy existing toys and/or rip off designs at Shapeways...
Actually there are a ton of targetmaster kits, and Titan to targetmaster conversion packs on Shapeways, and I myself have several versions of the shootermaster third party targetmasters which weren't popular at the time because "they don't have characters to use them" glad I picked them all up now, lol All that said you've done a splendid job here, wonderful work.
awesome stuff. love the targetmasters for all its weird charm. yours look alot more like guns than my mod did.
yeah I wish I'd bought the shootermasters but we only really got the black and grey packs on offer in the uk. Would be a perfect time for a reissue .
Considering some have blatantly ripped off Shapeways before... Indeed. Not that I condone it. That said... It is surprising not even say, Dr. Wu hasn't gone and made upgrades of this kind. Always makes all those odds and ends folks seem to want...
