ok, so Starscream is def. coming back and Barricade's return is very likely, and as for Megatron-well, does he ever really die? but my biggest wonder is: Scorponok-whatever happened to him? he was incredibly wicked, and i personally hope he returns somehow, esp. cause a remote controll of him would be awesome-wheels underneath make him move, is legs wriggle to make it look like he is kinda walkin-with spinning claws and thrashing tail, he would def. be a high seller if he gets more screen time. IMHO

maybe he could help bring back Megatron? i mean, Blackout was super loyal, maybe that will transfer over to Scorponok

Dunno another have to wait and see.

An idea someone had ages ago, that i read on www.countingdown.com forums, was to have a shot of the desert where Scorponok disapeared, you can hear strange voices talking and movement, the a shadow looms and someone says 'Found him', a huge arm slams into the sand and Scorponok is yanked out flailing around by his tail. Their Decepticons (the person didn't specify which ones), one holds Scorp up will other leans in and asks what happened.

I found it interesting at the time.

I wish Bonecrusher would be able to come back from the dead, because Hasbro said they'd totally make a bigger version of him if he was in movie 2.

    Here's my thinking...

Now if Frenzy can roam around sans his body and transform into a cell phone etc... I would tend to think this could be possible for other Transformers (For a limited time anyway) unless A. Given a new body if seperated from it's old one or B. Rejoined with their exhisting body.

Now Bonecrusher had his head cut off (in a simular fashion) and it fell to the ground all we seen is Optimus walking away from both the head and body.
Now besides the small explosions from the mechanics of his neck joint being severed. We really don't know for sure if Bonecrusher is truly dead.
He could have effected a self repair system or being close to the blast radius of Megatron's/Alspark's destruction it could have repaired him in some way as well, this event could also be a set up in TF2 for the Constructicons if Bonecrusher is to join with them.
Also the only wreckage seen on the Destroyer (Ship) is parts of Megatron, and Blackout, Now considering the Destroyer's size They might have split up the Decepticons remains between two ships so Devastator and Bonecrusher's remains could have been on another ship.

Now if the Alspark had the power to create new life through directed energy, now wouldn't it have the same effect apon it's destruction. A wave of energy washing over the remaining, Living Transformers within a certian radius would restore them I believe, or the small fragment that Optimus had could have restored the Autobots and Bumblebee's legs. Cause let's face it They all looked brand new at the end of the movie, that could be a factor of the alspark fragment or their ablity to re-scan their vehicle molds.
Which conclusion it is I don't know at the moment...

Since Optimus has posesion of the Alspark fragment and holds another power source being the Matrix, it could have givien him more power (That we don't truly know fully about yet) Since it was mentioned in the first draft of TF2 that that fragment/ the second energy source (The Alspark energy hidden under Las Vegas) and the Matrix were vital plot points for the second movie and involved in restoring Megatron.

I know ppl will try to pick apart this theroy but untill TF2 is released and we have more info we won't know everything that left us with questions unless they are answered in the forthcoming sequels...

I wouldn't mind seeing Scorponok in TF2, but didn't Ironhide slag him in one of the comics when he hijacked Ironhide?

And a big budget Hollywood movie is inclined to acknowledge a licensed UK comic why exactly?

On the other hand, Orci recently confirmed at the Don Murphy boards that Scorponok is something between a drone and a symbiont. So if Blackout is dead, the question would be whether Scorponok can even survive on his own.

Duh, Starscream's coming back. I seriously do hope for Barricade's return (he's my fav, just look at my sig), and besides didn't somebody say that the movie peeps decided at the last minute that they want to keep Barricade for TF2?

And yeah... what about Scorponok? Last time we saw him in the film, it looked like he dug underneath the sand and disappear, albeit without his tail/stinger, which the army guys took and examined it on the plane going back to the States. They need to explain why he simply disappeared after that one fight.

-No more mindless drones. This isn't Beast Machines. So no Scorponox please.
    -Megatron's dead. Rust in pieces.
-Bonecrusher doesn't deserve to come back after his pitiful performance.
-Brawl was just an idiot. All he did was swat flies while he let Bumblebee kill him.
-Blackout...didn't do shit and then was killed by humans, keep him dead.
-Starscream....actually put up a fight. He needs to come back.
-Barricade was a coward; he should just keep on running.
-Flimzy killed himself because the writers wrote themselves into a corner, and had to end that scene. So he should return.
Ok....so by my count, the leaves two Decepticons. Wow I am not a forgiving person, am I? Haha!

    Decepticons to return

Barricade and Starscream are both cowards , one is hiding here in Earth , the other is loomin is space for qood-daddy Meqatron to come to save him AGAIN.They should not re-appear.
New decepticons have to land on Earth and tear it apart . Constructicons / Devastator would be the rightful choice but they will need leadership, from no one else than SOUNDWAVE or SHOCKWAVE - loqical choices for makinq their debut in the sequel .
Scorpornok , according to Dreawave was already dealt by Ironhide and the British special units.

All we know 100% for sure would be Starscream since he's the only one we see that can still function at the end of the movie.

Barricade depends on which way they go with why he just seems to have left the film. Either Sam was wrong and saw some other police car because Bumblebee had finished him off, or Barricade got stuck in traffic and couldn't make the fight.

Scorpie is still a bit of a question since all we see is his tail but no body.

As to who stays dead I guess it depends on if Megatron is back and how they might bring him back if he is back again. Would have been easier to have just used status lock, but that would require Hollywood writers to be as smart as cartoon writers. Maybe have thought out a few rules about what it takes to actually kill a Transformer instead of just having it totally random so that no one knows for sure.

Now if we are going to by mob standards then they are all dead to me. Frenzy couldn't handle an old guy, a fat guy, and an idiot. As long the humans have a stick with a nail in it then Blackout could be taken out again. Bonecrusher and the tank with too many names put WWE jobbers to shame so do we really need another cast of jobbers just to job all over again?

A lot of fans are toying with that idea. I personally seriously doubt that.

Starscream is definently gonna be back. Megs is gonna have to make a reappearence cause frankly is Megatron, he's a bastard to kill at anytime. Soundwave has been confirmed and a possible Ravage. Anyone else is anyones guess.

But we already saw Barricade answer Starscream's transmission along with all the other Decepticons.
Stuck in traffic?? A car that can transform into a 20 foot tall evil Decepticon, en route to inevitable battle, stuck in traffic? Good lord I hope the writers don't go with that!

    1. Hot loaded Sabot rounds is what it took to kill Blackout and Megatron
(not to mention injure Scorponok and apparently Frenzy took one to the head)...
    2. Devastator was killed by a weapon of his own kind (Bumblebee's)...
    3. Bonecrusher's head was removed from his beaten body by Optimus Prime.
    4. Jazz's spark was destroyed when his body was split in two by Megatron.

Not too random, really... and not unknown. It's all there in the film.

LOL... That's ridiculous! Why would he have attacked Sam like he did? Why would he have fought Bumblebee (and let Bumblebee jack him up)?

Besides, why would the Autobots need a mole in the Decepticons anyway? They already got to Sam before the Decepticons... they had all the info they needed except Cpt. Witwicky's glasses. And they didn't need the 'cons for that! Sounds like fanboy wishful thinking to me personally.

Starscream is off to claim rule to the Decepticons, not hiding. and Barricade was probably smart enough to avoid the fight, or could be under orders from Megatron to be away, who knows? i believe Bay already said no Constructicons or something like that. Soundwave is confirmed, and although Scorponok was "dealt with" by Ironhide, Barricade was killed in the book. the book type stuff may not mean squat-its all what the writers want.

What do you mean Scorponok was dealt with by Iron Hide?
I don't remember that part of the book...
