Why does the ice cream truck have a Decepticon symbol on it? It's in a brief shot of a popsicle sign on the passenger side of the truck... on this sign is a 'Con symbol. ??
Okay, that was an shout out to the Deceptions. Right next to the Decepticon symbol, it says 'suck my popsicle'. jD001
Well in some over seas markets they censored the ' suck my' part. My friend in Germany saw it and said they only have the decepticon symbol and popcicle next to it. I told her what I saw here and she saw it a second time and said no it there was a black box over the "suck my" part.
See, this here explains my confusion... the version I saw is indeed from germany. The only difference is instead of a black box, in which case I would have known something was being censored, the "suck my" part is color matched to the rest of the sticker... a dirty white. So all I saw was "[Decepticon symbol]_________Popsicle", and it looked normal. Anyway, this can now be locked because it all makes sense now. Thanks everyone!
well she said there looked to be a black box but the bumper sticker was black so it looked like two words were blacked out or matched in with the sticker. You in Germany? How'd you see a German version? LOL
The original plan was to have Skids & Mudflap's alt mode have a "Decepticons, suck my popsicle!" But I think the edited that out, by virtue of this being kid friendly. The original plan was to have the toy have a bumper or something saying the same thing, but this, too, appears to have been changed. Hope this helps!
The toy doesn't appear to have any part of the slogan at all, probably for both appropriateness and trademark issues. I hope Reprolabels makes a sticker to correct this
the first time i saw it i couldnt read it because of the red text on blue. everyone laughed in the theater and i was like "what was so funny? i dont get it."
