Mirage has always been one of my favorite G1 figures as a child and as an adult.
I wanted to see what Mirage would look like if he was a Decepticon so I took apart a KO mirage and began to paint the necessary parts.
The end results: Decepticon "Sabotage".
I need to create tech specs for this guy so I think I will use part of the story
line from the episode where Cliffjumper thought Mirage was a traitor.
The box art is done I just need to spray mount it to the box.

The lil image forced me to check this out. Glad I did cause that colour really makes this mold pop.

You done did real good and chose an excellent colour.

Very niiiiice. Looks like true blue pearl from testors paints. Love that color so much, and it loooks awesome on mirage.

The paint job doesn't really scream "decepticon" to me, but it is beautiful.

It's spay paint.
I masked the Citanes 26 with Perma liquid mask.
That side parts took some time but it was well worth it.
Painting:
I do a light spray to introduce the paint to the surface then wait 30 seconds.
Then a second light layer, wait 30 seconds.
The third layer is mostly to cover the whole piece so that there are no spots.

After that I let it set for 2 hours and check to make sure it is dry.
Then I clear coat the parts. I put it all together after the clear coat drys.

I'm glad yo enjoyed it.
