Debating on a tablet vs Kindle Fire

    OK, I have some perks saved up with Staples, and they have two highly rated items on sale this week


    Archos G9 8" 4GB, WiFi

    and the

    Amazon Kindle Fire

    Cost is not the issue, as the Archos would be $125 after coupons and rebate and the Kindle would be $175 after rebate, but I was wondering which direction should I go. I would take up reading on it, as I like the Stargate series books which are going to e-books now; and maybe catch up on some IDW comics as they are pretty cheap if you wait a few months to get on an e-reader. We would use it when traveling to have basic web browsing while at WDW and other places, but I just do not know which would be better
