I was in barnes and noble today, and picked up the latest issue of wizard. now I don't really pay too much attention to the comics world, aside from the tf comics and usagi yojimbo. buuuuuut, I was big into the image books in the 90's and these were two of my favorites, and I was honestly sad when they both came to an end of their respective storylines and never continued. anyone else read these before and excited that they're coming out again?

Actually the orginal Deathblow WAS finished when he died at the end at of a crossover (I forget which one).
The first 12 issues was reprinted as a TPB called Deathblow: Sinners and Saints that last time I checked was avaiable from DC.

Jim Lee did finish Deathblow story from Darker Image in Deathblow #0 which sadly didn't make it in the trad.,

And IIRC Alan Moore later brought Deathblow back (this time Deathblow was a woman) in a 3(?) issue mini-series.

WetWorks I lost all intrest in it after the 8th issue.

I can't remember how long the series ran. It started in 1994 (two years after it was announced, I'd guess) and ran until.... what, the late 90's?

At Portacio's speed, 20 issues could be 40 years worth :lol

Wildstorm has been around a fraction of the time that Marvel and DC have and their comics have been revamped more than the big two combined. Just like with wildcats and cyberforce, I'll pass.

i picked up all the Wetworks titles...and it was about 30-40 issues.

the reason that WW took forever to start was that Whicle's sister past away and he went back home..but when it did, it was a good read.

i'll be picking up Wetworks, Wildcats, Gen13, Stormwatch, and maybe Deathblow when the relaunch starts (some this months, others next)

What was the name of the event that rebooted the (latest) Wildstorm universe?

Can someone refresh me as to what Wetworks is about? It has something to do with werewolves and vampires, right?
