Heavy/Scratch: Death Race Mustang custom Alt.

    Well.... To all the folks who where wondering if i would finish this........ I can say that I have been,and now am really close. I can now say that this is a before battle damage post. I wanted to show it nice and not beat up first. Soon i will have pics of him damaged and rusted and such. I haven't done Battle damage before,so....... I hope I get it right. To summorize the build. Since the Alt line had a Mustang in it and so Did the Death Race movie. I decided to combine the two. Fun concept and I got to do some of my fisrt scratch buiding with this. More then I thought It would be too! I don't have too many hours into this, but more then i can remeber. This is the first showing of the bot mode. Hope the waite has been worth it. I did do a mask casting as it where too. not the whole head just a mask like form.

    Thanks SB! Your was more movie accurate for sure. I tried to blend the first version in the movie that got blown up and the 2nd we saw more of, Then went in a direction of how I would make such a car too. Beyond advancing to making alot of scratch made panels.........I wanted to use my casting kit I have had for awhile already. So I made a half head mold for the Ironman cross over hummer. Then modded it what was left of grimlock face. Far as a name..........Not finalized yet.

    Fantastic looking work!

    I'm turning a HA Bumblee into the same Deathrace car, but I haven't started on the styrene work yet. Do you have any other WIP shots aside from that one front-view? Seeing what to cut and at what angles in this scale (rather than adapting from my reference art) would really help out. :)

    Love how you captured the "pig iron" armor look. Every bit looks like a Mustang-shaped tank. The only thing I'd see different is to lose the stripes on the tombstone and shoot it full of holes, other than that, I think this is one of the most interesting customs I've seen in a while.
