I find it to be just fine. I have no complaints, thus far.
TFC Satan is being made...And maybe @ibot wants to join the party and make some terrorcons!
Not an ounce of sarcasm intended at all.
From what I've seen if the headless grey test shot, it looks like a damn good Hunn Gurr for 25 us dollars.
Looks like all the other cheap crap hasbro sells.
Can't wait to hear all those serious hasbro collectors talk about the potp-ourri play pattern as a selling point. Like Russian nesting dolls. Unarticulated figure stuffed into another and another
Doesn't look like Hun-gurrr all that much.
I'm hoping they kept the same holes for the hands and feet. We can get some $15 KO PE simple versions.
You forgot the blue text..... wait... you were being serious? ROFLMAO!!!!
I'm good. If I want a better hun-grr I'll go with tfc or stick with Ordin. We've only seen Rippersnapper who looks great. The other three limbs could be disasters, so I'm not gonna get ahead of myself and think I need a replacement torso for a set I'm not sure if I'll buy yet.
I like the Hasbro one.
Plus, children nor their parents can afford a $120 voyager. You seem to forget that Transformers are for kids! The fact that you are an adult playing with childrens toys, in some circles, make you a freak.
I was thinking the same thing.
It looks like shit. They dropped the ball on it.
I'm only buying it because it will scale with the other upgraded ones I own. Then I'm going to have to spend another $50 making it look acceptable.
Which is why I don't buy 99% of mainline junk. That and yes, they are kiddy BS.
I can't help you with what you intend to spend your money on, but you're wrong on this point. If you change your buying patterns based upon a fuzzy picture of a mistransformed, grey resin, unfinished prototype, then I can't really help you. If your biggest problem right now is that you don't like a kid's toy, then I don't want to hear it. Because trust me, I've got enough real life problems right now to make me not care what toys look like.
I only really care what it looks like combined. The Combaticons look like shit but, made a cool Bruticus in the end... once upgraded.
I like Hasbro's Hun-Grrr...
My G1 HunGrrr, was also made for kids, and I was a kid when I got it. And it looks so much better in every mode. And even has fancy-schmancy hip and knee articulation in combined mode, which was quite a feat for the time.
I'd expect something better nowadays, not worse.
PotP really stands for Poop of the Primes so it's understandable why this thing is laughable.
I wonder if the OP thought his simple request would derail into arguing about toys... oh wait...
You may call me ignorant since I honestly have never understood voyager/leader/etcetera sizing definitions or standards, but hasn't Unique Toys filled this request with their version? If the answer is yes, then my answer to the original question is yes, since I have Ordin and love it.
It can't be mistransformed. They should've taken the combiner feet off of the forearms.
Mistransformed = I refuse to believe it's crap
Okay...? I just want a good-looking modern Hun-Grrr. Why does that offend you?
It's not fuzzy and you can clearly make out the scrawny forelegs, the brick-like hindlegs with backwards knees, and some random weirdness hanging off of the underbelly. Show me how it's mistransformed, and when we've ever seen an unfinished mold at a convention. This is what we're going to get, but in Hun-Grrr colors.
The icing on the urinal cake is that we've gotten a better-looking Hun-Grrr before. Compare this:
This isn't even a case of "I don't like it because it's not G1". It's a case of not liking it because it looks downright awful. And why? Because Warden's designers didn't want to spend time designing a new torso mode transformation, so they reused Silverbolt's mode and proportions on it instead? It doesn't even have the excuse of being remolded, because it's not. This is an entirely brand new mold that suffered for a lazy design team, and I'd rather give a third party the extra money for their take on Hun-Grrr than settle for this misfire of a collector's toy.
I wasn't thinking about it. I certainly wasn't expecting outright hostility for suggesting it.
