I hope these aren't to good to be true. I think I got a good price for both items, but I don't know a lot about the Japanese stuff. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270215220741&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=017 http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270215223468&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=017
Holy shit. I'd say you did. Usually for MIB G1 Japanese stuff the price range goes into the selling first borns souls and blood range.
Hmm, I won't be too sure on that, there're chinese words on the box(Not the japanese kanji ones, I mean pure chinese) Those are probably the ones which got licensed in China. Again, Might Gaine should be the best person to ask about it.
Naturally, I rushed to see what else, if anything, that guy happened to have in stock... and was greeted by Armada Laserbeak.
I don't know anything about them, but the plastic looks dubious to me. Also, the price is suspiciously low. I hope you just got a good deal, good luck.
Same Shuttle, same box.... and it does say Takara. http://www.cobraislandtoys.com/tf/1989/mach-tackle-box2-th.jpg and i don't see a single pack version of the car... but I found the Road Caesar set. http://www.cobraislandtoys.com/tf/1989/roadcaesarbox1.jpg So that one I'm unsure of..
this auction has the single pack of Laster and it looks to match. http://cgi.ebay.com.sg/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150201027845
I'd say that even if they are the Chinese versions of the toys, you still got a great deal. Nice one!
I'm pretty sure they are official, I hope they are official. I think my 3 2-packs of Landcross are those versions. Will you hunt down the other 2 pieces for RoadCeasar, and 4 for Landcross?
Might gaine was selling these a few years back and I believe he was selling them for 25-30 ea the quality is the exact same as the japanese versions I have laser and braver in the chinese box and aswell as a roadcesar giftset
Like Blahduh said, these are the licensed Chinese release from 1995. So, they're real, just not Japanese Basically in China, Hasbro started releasing G1 in 1989, 5 years after we started getting G1. So through 1994 the Chinese line was basically just reissues of a large number of US releases in boxes that looked nearly identical to the US releases, except with a Chinese sticker in the corner. After the Power Master-era stuff came out in 1994 in China, in 1995 instead of continuing on to Pretenders and Micromasters, Hasbro released Victory toys in China: Road Caesar in single packs, Landcross in single packs, and Liokaiser in single packs (but missing Leozack, stangely). That's what these are.
