    Dreadwind

I really wanted the Botcon Dreadwind... but I'm not paying 400-500 bucks for him... SO, I made my own.

I used KO Jetfire for the figure. I kinda wish I used the original Jetfire, mostly do the fact that the KO version has two right legs and is lose, even with the paint applied.
So, first I sanded and sculpted his head using putty. I was very pleased the way it came out. I then sanded and primed the figure and applied the paint (which took some time). For the white paint I use a white epoxy I had... which work great! For the purple I airbrushed it on. This was my first time airbrushing. Now I understand why so many customizers airbrush their figures. For the teal and dark green on the wings I had to brush it on by hand. It came out ok, kinda of pain in that ass.
In the end I'm very please the way this figure came out... enjoy!

i love this one over the Botcon because you took the time to give it the new head plus homemade means more to the person who makes it

That's really nice. What purple did you use? Your color selection in general was great, but that purple is perfect.
