Just to recap, this is a collaboration between Thyvipera and me. Deadend. Major props goes to Frenzy Rumble for his Menasor last year as well as a big thank you to Ptitvite for his original design of Devastator! WHile not forgetting countless talents MoeSizzlac, yourreflection and the many others that have already done up these amazing combiners. (Hope I covered sufficient grounds ) Alternate and combined modes to be revealed very very soon. Hehehe! Dear all, updates!
I actually would have wanted to push his stripes to the left hand side of the car but at the same time, I wanted thick black 'anime' lines to the yellow as a huge panel marking. SO, I wasn't too sure how that would have looked on the side of the car.
Erm...Faceplate? I was using this as reference. http://tfwiki.net/w2/images2/thumb/e/e3/MTMTEDeadEnd.jpg/300px-MTMTEDeadEnd.jpg
Yea, he had one in the toon. I'm not saying you're wrong since the reference pic is from DW and his toy didn't have one either. I guess it falls in line with the Superion argument. In the toon, he was portrayed as having a faceplate. His toy and comic incarnations had him with a mouth. I just like faceplates (and visors)
LOL I was also like....no faceplate?! I also like faceplates and visors! But it's all good, still rocking!! Everyone has their own personal preferences.
LOL I didn't even care about the face plate. I'm just curious as to where the head came from. Awesome job Sabs. I would've liked a little more G1 accuracy, but I understand there's only so much you can do with the mold you use as a base. I'm also curious as to how the stripe would've looked off slightly to a side, but still great nonetheless.
You misread me. I know the stripe is centered. Sabs expressed having thought about putting the stripe to a side originally. I think it would've been a good idea and wondered how that might have looked.
