Quick question: I have had Dead Rising for a while now and well....I haven't played it. Why? For some reason the game does not save. I go to the secruity thing, click save, wait and it says complete but it doesn't show. I am saving to the harddrive by the way. Anyone else having this problem? Should I get a memory card? I have tried Capcom but they suck ass.

Haven't heard of this one, could you explain a little more about it not showing. Is it not showing up in the main menu if you turn off the console and start again (go to 72 hour mode then it should show the saved game at the top and start a new game below it)? If it is not showing up on the main menu, then I'm not quite sure what's wrong.

Are you saving and quitting? Because that restarts the game, only saving the character development and not the story.

Stupid question, but is your HD firmy secure to your console?

And Twist, I'm sure I've saved and quit to pick up the game latter on.
It's only when you die and save does it reset.

Like what I do is I save, then usually quit as I am tired with it. When I go back in to continue my game, it has "new game" instead of "continue".

That's really wierd, and something I've never heard of. If you go to the couch or bathroom, and then save the game, it should appeard at the top when you select 72 hour mode (should be selected by default under the continue header). I'm sorry I can't be of more help, and I hope you get this sorted out.
