I get a very "Dead Rising" vibe from the game description. Don't really care though as I haven't had my fill of zombie games yet.

    I can see it now:

*Camera pans out to show a dead girl with blood on her neck and shirt and zombies behind her*

"HEY! HO! LET'S GO! HEY! HO! LET'S GO!"

Holy crap that was awesome. I watched it forward and backwards. I admit as a father of a young daughter it was depressing. My wife normally likes zombie stuff, but no way am I showing her that video. If she saw it there would be no way I could buy that game and stay in her good graces!

That was really good. Now if the game can play as good as the movie looks we will be in buisness.

Polygonal puppets or not –that was amazing!
I hope the game itself has the same kind of attention to detail and, more importantly, emotion.

When Dead Rising 2: Case Zero first premiered I thought the series had taken a turn for the dramatic with Chuck’s daughter Katie’s involvement.
But other than getting back and giving Katie her Zombrex, there really wasn’t any attachment to her.

I hope this game has people in it you need to protect, and like Mass Effect, you won’t be able to protect them all.

Now I need to go hug my daughter.

Looks awesome, I hope the "Lost" aspect is kept in that you are dumped into it not having a clue what to do and you just have to search the island for scant clues and secret locations.

Too many games hold your hand and tell you where exactly to go with blatant clues, I want an actual mystery to solve in a sandbox environment (while zombies chase my ass around).

I kind of hope that too. I agree that in big, open world games these days there is too much hand holding. It's much more mysterious and engaging when you're in the dark and you have to figure everything out yourself. Though of course there has to be some limits, as otherwise it could be too difficult or frustrating.

Yeah, there has to be some balance.

I couldn't imagine playing Assassin's Creed without some kind of map.

    what an emotional trailer.
pretty controversial too. In before the media flips a shit about this.
It's kinda refreshing seeing studios touch on sensitive, but plausible subjects with games.

Oh gosh, I know. I meant more like Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. You had to really dig around in the game to find out where to go and the history behind everything.

A part of me would find it fun just to be a tourist during the out break and its basically a case of living till rescue arrives rather then just going from A to B like in L4D.

but honestly I'm not going to make a call till I see some game play
