wow Kofboy....how i can miss ur thread???anyway it is outstanding for classic siries...i think that is the best classic class magnus that i saw...thumbs up bro:thumbs2:

however the approach that i will do here is:

1.the scale will suit on MP Scale for both mode
2.he will hav a new face
3.hand and leg can widely articulated/open
4.same as wheel will change to MP scale
5.will canibalize 2 Reissue Magnus to ensure to get MP scale
6.fist will also MP size and finger articulated

    thnks for sharing dude...

This should be great! If this comes out you should make a follow along. I know I'm trying to figure out how to make decent magnus trailer! Make sure to take lots or pictures!

I don't understand how you're taking a G1 toy (that's 1:32 scale) and making it into something MP scale (that's roughly 1:28 scale). Perhaps you're making a Classics Ultra Magnus like kofboy?

I believe you're taking sections off a second trailer to extend the first, correct? sounds interesting.

MP Magnus is about 1:28th scale, which is a bit smaller than 1:24. A G1 Magnus trailer (modifications or not) is about 1:32. You would have to do something to increase all of the parts to make it 1:28th scale, or even 1:24. If not, it's going to look really small with MP Magnus.

Regardless of what you do, I'm interested to see your results. :thumb

This is very interesting to me as I'm working on a ROTF Voyager UM at the moment. I definitely like the direction you're taking this! Great work so far!:thumbs2:

^Superquad i know this is an old thread, just seen it today but just so you know MP Prime/Ultra Magnus is 1/25 scale I have a 1/25 scale coe freightliner model and the cab is the same size....grant it some of the other parts arn't in scale with it...like wheels, gas tanks , exhaust stacks and other small details BUT i would bet money when they designed the MP Prime they were taking some measurments of a 1/25 scale model.....on a side note thats why most of my collection is altenators and MP....so the scale is right....

I usually cringe when a zombie thread gets resurrected.

I'm glad I'm wrong this time. You know I love your stuff Wan, how's UM coming along?

Well, these figures are an approximation as they aren't scaled figures to begin with. They fall somewhere inbetween the 1:28-1:25 range, but they're too small to be 1:24 in vehicle mode. The figure is designed more around the robot mode, as the vehicle mode is a bit more of a makeshift model than 1:1 to with any model or model kit.

Zombie threads in Creative are cool as long as the post is relevant. :)

    I believe Supersquad is correct.
MP Magnus is not in scale with Alternators... if you imagine to put a a driver on both, the differences became more evident. Nevertheless, I'm sure you'll build the armor to be in scale with the figure, and that's it, so keep up and good work! I'm sure it's gonna be great!
