Is there an easy/safe way to straighten his sword and wings?

not sure if it will work for VP, but to straighten my DVD Primes axe I heated it under a desk lamp for about an hour until it was nice a soft, then sat my entire Tolkien collection on it over night. Worked like a charm.

I just bent mine... It's really soft so there's no stress marks.

Bend it to about where it was, but on the other side. It should go back fairly straight.

Do that and hold it for a bit too, it can work pretty well sometimes, but it's not always reliable. Worth a shot though.

Give him some Viagra. (Yes, I know, old joke)

Seriously, though, all you can do is bend it back like mentioned, but it has a tendancy to curve unwantedly over time, like the gravitational pull is affecting it :lol

I just flip mine over once a week so it bends back.

Well I tried bending mine in the other direction and had a pile of books on the sword, but no go. You can try a thing MOTU fans do: boil water in a pot and put another pot in the freezer to get it real cold. Put the sword or wing in the pot with boiling water with a pasta spoon and hold it there, but don't let it touch the bottom. It will start to straighten out. When you get the shape you desire, put the part in cold water and hold it there for 10 minutes. And VOILA.

The boiling trick that razorclaw mentioned does indeed work pretty well, I've done it with many a Gundam MSiA. You can also use a hair dryer to warm the part, but you usually have to hold it in place as it cools or at least run it under some cold water to get it to set.
