Oh, sorry. I thought the news about Summer Glau on the Superman Homepage site was the full press release but I didn't click on it to confirm.

Newsarama has the full press release.

NP, I found it shortly after posting myself :D

I do not know about him as the voice. I mean, they got back Ed Asner, they could not get Michael Ironside?

Wow. The more I hear about this thing the more awesome it gets.

I'm not really surprised Daly is coming back. His entire schedule pretty much consists of nothing but Private Practice.

But he is back and that's great news. The more work he can put in as Superman, the easier it will be to forget Brainiac Attacks.

Depends on what's on it. On one hand, I got PE on 2-disc and I'm soooo glad I did just for the docs and interviews; on the other hand, I just got the single disc for Crisis and I'm completely happy with it. But I might spring for the two-disc just for the Green Arrow cartoon.

Edit: Supergirl featurette = sold on 2-disc copy.

    EFF YES.

And Andre Braugher is awesome, so I can very much look forward to his Darkseid.

Definitely picking up the Blu-ray too, so looking forward to all those Fourth World features.

Watched Apocalypse last night. The animation style was appealing and the story was engaging, but I'm not familiar with the source material so I'm not sure how accurate it was in the translation. I liked it, though I think my girlfriend liked it more. Definitely good to have Conroy back.

I'm looking forward to this one. I bought the trade paperback of the story, and it's pretty good. We'll see how close the adaption is.

I was disappointed they didn't have Batman and Superman talking to each other while batman was scuba diving. That was some great dialog they left out. There were a few scene changes and additions, but it was close to the source material. But they left out some parts I'd have liked them to leave in. I won't spoil it though.

Yeah I felt the lack of S/B interaction in the bay scene was sucky.

The interaction between Clark and Bruce is the key component of the Superman/Batman series, as are their internal dialogues, and I was sad to see they were absent from the movie (just like Public Enemies). Aside from that, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The voice cast was great and I was glad to hear Susan Eisenberg as Diana again. And the Green Arrow short was great too!
