I have been looking for him for some time and just about gave up and was at Target and found these 2 so I picked them up. How hard are these to come by. Are they limited to 1 per case or something along those lines. I am just wondering because I for the first time in months of looking saw them normally I see all the regular ones of this line with teh regular S shield of Yellow and Red never the Black and Red.

    Ebay:
    1. It's Mattel. Supes and Bats are shipped in rediculously high quantities when compared to the 'minor' characters.

    2. It's a new wave.

I saw about 7 of each last time I was at Wal-mart. Picked up a Supes, nice figure.

I saw both last night at a target. Didn't pick up either though. Mainly because SuperGirl's face looks like ass.

From what I read, these aren't suppose to be varients at all but rather a running change...I could be wrong though.

Yep, for the re-release of that wave, they put black shields on them rather than yellow.

Originally Supergirl was hard to come by but started popping up more. Also, Doomsday was difficult for a while. Superman however was always multipacked per case.

Saw the Supergirl repaint only once but the Superman repaint about 3 times.
Someone also had a (Target I think) Superman & Supergirl 2 packs. Alongside a Clark/Superman 2pack. Sweet deal
