SCOOP: Marvel And DC To Publish New Twelve Issue Crossover – Spider-Man/Batman | Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors

Looks like DC and Marvel needs to sell to the masses. I like that they're doing crossovers again. As a kid, it was an awesome thing to read the Superman/Spider-Man crossover, here's hoping this will attract new readers from the younger set or movie watching set, especially with a new Spider-Man and a new Batman movie coming out.

 

Why 12 issues?

 

That's one too many issues. A definite pass.

 

While I can't think of two characters least suited to one another, this should be interesting.

Personally, I wanna see Ms. Marvel / Power Girl crossover  

 

It's nice to see DC and Marvel seeming to be back on good terms. They need to revive the Amalgam Universe one of these days.

Wow, that seems horribly unprofessional.

 

They've actually crossed over before, though I don't remember the specifics. It worked a lot better than you'd think, most likely since they both can be set in gritty urban locales and because the massive gulf in their personalities let them play off eachother really well.

or maybe the 1997 crossover Im thinking of.

 

Shame. I would've totally bought that and I haven't bought a superhero comic in months.

 

Wasn't that the one where Clark Kent went to the Daily Bugle and Peter Parker went to the Daily Planet?
