And in the comics when he inevitably reverts back to the status quo.

DC should start calling him "David."

I read on the back of a Marvel trading card that the writers of the 1978 "The Incredible Hulk" TV show changed Bruce Banner to David Banner because CBS thought "Bruce" sounded like an effeminate name.

Ironically, while being Rich doesn't suit Dick at all, Bruce seems to do alright being rich.

Weird reason. On the plus side, I now know what effeminate means :)

It doesn't mean "turn green and gets really strong when you're cross," that's for sure.

The Hawkman series is very interesting at the moment. Hawkman is Quantum-leaping through his legion of incarnations across different eras and worlds, on a mystery. (I wonder if it will mention his Violet Lantern history.)

It's nice that he's made many friends and allies across the ages. When written well and with care, Hawkman can be quite a badass hero.

I'm glad you think so. It's boring me to tears. I'm having a hard time not skimming the issues just to be done with them faster so I can move on to a better comic. Which sucks, because I am a longtime hardcore Hawkman and Hawkwoman fan. The book has a not horrible writer and a fantastic artist, but it just does nothing for me.

I had high hopes for this week's issue, because I love the Truman Hawkworld mini and the Ostrander ongoing that followed it (until it self-destructed during fucking Zero Hour). So I was excited to see that version of the characters again and that world. Except it wasn't that version of the characters and world. It was antiseptic and shallow and BORING.

What really sucks is that I know I'm going to keep buying this book no matter what, because I want so badly for it to become good. It is easily my least favorite comic of what I buy. There are books better than this that I drop.

At some point they kinda all do. There's always a shot in his garage with a movie version or two.

The last few issues of white knight had like all the tv and movie batmobiles in it. At the same time. It was awesome

I love the idea of Batman having to decide which ride to take out on patrol that night.

I met Greg Capullo and Jonathan Glapion at a Conference and had them sign one of the first comics I ever read. I also met Kevin Conroy, but his autograph was considerably more expensive...

That's cool, but I've seen Golden Age comics less beat up than that one ;)

At Keystone ComiCon in Philadelphia. Not sure how I missed it autocorrect con to conference.

The spine is a bit nicked up (the downside of mostly-black covers) but most of the wear is from the bag, which I've used in the past as a makeshift poster frame.

Another Heroes In Crisis #1 Death Confirmation (MAJOR SPOILERS) - Bleeding Cool News And Rumors

So yeah it goes the way pretty much everyone figured it would.
This is why people are losing interest, it's so by the numbers you can see the plot before even reading the issue. Go back a few pages and see comments of people predicting this.

    He's pretty much become
Dan Didio's and Dc's whipping boy at this point

    First he's on drugs
    Slowly digs his way out
Even ends up on the Suicide Squad for awhile.
Gets a name change, has a kid grows up and puts his life together
    Joins the League
    Kid gets killed
He's turned into a druggy nut talking to a dead cat.
    They kill him
    They Bring him back
    They start building him up

...nope can't have a good ending for this charcater
    so here we go again.
