It's a few minutes in I think... He basically says that he is working on a project for Hasbro, but can't say what it is right now and that he will be able to say in a few months time.

Interesting. Definitely sounds as though he's working on the next TF show. It'll be interesting to see what becomes of it. I'm not expecting it to be more than one season, seeing as TF3 will coming earlier than first thought. Still, it'll be nice to have something non-movie for at least a little while. I like the movies, and the designs, but it can get a bit stale after a while.

Edit: The video has been "removed by the user".

Next Transformers, I'd like it to have a more Beast Wars like storyline without the damn Beast Machines continuity which was horrendous IMO. In a sense that it became more and more interesting as the story went along. Stories were TOLD. The current TFA show was interesting, but it felt like there were loose ties that could be told further. It felt short and more aimed at a younger target audience than Transformers is use to. I understand this is a for kids show but even then I'd like to have a slightly more adult overtone, which Beast Wars had. Im not saying to repeat Beast Wars, but just an example of an intriguing narrative of Transformers. Thats just my :2c:

I think he worked on the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. That's all I know about him.

The only place so far that has most of his credits is IMDB.

    David Wise (I)

Interesting that he has done one of the most influential episodes of G1.

Wise wrote fifteen episodes of G1 (the most of any G1 cartoon writer), but is better known as the head writer of the 1980s-90s TMNT series.

I think Hasbro and Paramount were always really planning on a 2011 release for TF3 and it was just a matter of making Michael Bay agree to the deal. It was only him that was saying 2012 (and that was because he wanted a break from making the same thing -- but seems the deal was sweet enough to keep him on). Because of that, I doubt that the movie's schedule will have that great an impact and we'll see something that lasts a couple of years. RotF's release was known for a while and Animated continued pretty much unaffected.

So he wrote "War Dawn" and "The Rebirth"...? Interesting.

"Kremzeek" is an awesome episode. AND woah! he wrote 'Auto-Bop'

Ok, this guy is like my hero.

He also wrote of note "If You're So Smart, Why Aren't You Rich?" from 90s Animated Batman

    But of course. ;)

Special mention also for "The Girl who Loved Powerglide." Our Universe Powerglides wouldn't have the hearts if it wasn't for him.

I'm going to go in a different direction from the previous guesses and say that, considering he wrote War Dawn, he may be working on the club comic, as Dion, Ariel, and Orion Pax are his creations.

This bodes very well, besides of course his war dawn creations in the club, maybe they'll tap him for a G1ish series on the new channel. Alongside something new of course...
Or maybe he'll be writing the 'transformers resolute' rumored to happen if joe resolute did well. His episodes were some of my favorites, and really dove into the past when he could and explore aspects of the war instead of just being rehashed out fight over earthly source of energon. His were more creative than that, drawing an almost fantasy aspect into the fiction, but at the same time still within the confines of science fiction. Secret of Omega Supreme and War Dawn are two my favorite episodes of the original.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see something new with the mythos, but at the same time, as IDW and the beast series have proven, new doesn't have to be an entire reboot.
We still have stories that can be told within the confines of G1, Transtech, or even animated, let alone RiD.

The guy wrote some really excellent G1 episodes plus one of my all time favorite Batman The Animated Series episodes. If he is going to be a writer on the next TF series that is a DEFINITE good sign.
