Well, that's swell for whoever is going. Sadly, I am not attending. I would love to meet these too amazing men though.

 

I have always wanted a chance to meet Garry Chalk! I now finally have it! I can't wait! 

It will be great to see Mr. Kaye again too! I hope the rumors about his character for TF: Prime are true too! I loved his performance from last year's script reading!

David Kaye is really cool. Met him last year. Sadly the autograph line was a bit rushed though.

Jealous of people meeting Gary Chalk, I've heard good things about him.

So I have a dumb question. I've been to the last couple of Botcon's but never stood in line for an Autograph. Do they cost anything other than time spent in line?

No, unless you don't have a package paid for, then they charge for an autograph poster to use for all the voice talent, or maybe an armband to show you paid admission to the show. I always have a package and dealer badge, so I'm not sure about the armband. They did have a girl go pay for a package to meet Peter Cullen in 09, but I didn't hear the whole conversation. As long as you have admission to be there, you'll be fine. And Garry Chalk is a great guy, Sidecutter, my nephew, and I talked with him at Slag-a-con last year, he cracked up when I had him sign Primal on his furry monkey ass.

Sweet! Two legends, let's hope this ties into the Hall of Fame somehow, could it be a Beast Wars induction year, inducting Bob Forward and Ditillio? David Kaye has voiced more Transformers than most, and is the only guy to play both Prime and Megatron, and has a history with the franchise going back more than 15 years.

 

Thanks! I've got a Primus package. I was hoping to make my TF Armada DVD Boxset worth keeping. What better way to do that than getting Optimus and Megatron to sign it.  

 

I think it's cool that David Kaye is coming back, he's really nice, and cool to know.
