Painted Daburu(ibid) to closely match White Leo from Headmasters. Pretty small to detail. I painted right onto the head and lower legs but pre primed the torso white with spray bomb. All enamel paint. Will take more pictures later after the paint cures and I build his iconic "white beamer" sword. Love that Hasbro incorporated this figure with Doublecross. Makes sense since the Monsterbots stayed on planet Beast and they got to know each other as well as observe the headmaster process. Be sure to check out Oniconvoy's post. On fence about it. * UPDATE * made a mini "white beamer" sword and painted torso sections white. I also did a variation on Tom_Servo's wrist mod on Doublecross. I was lucky to find a junker Doublecross to use the ports from a second head to attach to the wrists. The heads plug in and turn on a 5mm peg. As an added bonus lego flames are a perfect fit. Nice work. Kudos on painting such tiny details. I tried to paint the eye patch on mine but the detail is really tiny and I couldn't "stay in the lines"...
He is so tiny. A tricky paint job. I scraped a little paint back afterward with a hobby knife to sharpen the lines. I also dug out the jeweler glasses. One good trick was taking a photo with my phone and zooming in to see my mistakes/overpaint so I could go back and clean up.
Been planning to do this with mine since Twinferno was announced and Daburu was revealed to be White Lion. Great job and really looks awesome!
