I love your TF style. Is this pencil or pen? Or not even a scan?
Thanks. This is indeed a scan. The work is being done on 2-ply bristol board with a regular .5mm mechanical pencil.
IMMEDIATELY thought of DC's Bulleteer on first glance. This is not a bad thing, but check out the design for some inspiration maybe? Alix Harrower (New Earth) - DC Comics Database
a female seeker/conehead?
The nose does look a little blocky compared to her other facial features though.
Oo, I like her. Thanks!
Point taken. I didn't want her face to look overly organic, though. I'll see what I can do...
I know its a commish and most likely not your idea but I think the robo jugs really don't do the pic any good
eh, I'd leave the nose and make put more straight lines in the cheek area.
I have to agree. The rest of the illustration is aces.
The client has yet to get back to me regarding the work thus far, so I can't say whether or not the 'missile rack' will stay or go. I suppose we'll see.
Client, where are yooooooooooouuuuuuuuu.......
Female Seekers just rule on concept. This rules in execution as well.
She's amazing! I love the idea of a nosecone-female Transformer
Lines done. Colors to follow.
I think it's a nice piece.
From my own personal opinion, it's not all that great. But, I can see this from an artistic standpoint as well, and from there, it's actually pretty good. Definitely better than anything I can do.
Sometimes being able to see things from different perspectives is a good thing, and this is one of those times. (Not trying to sound mean/demeaning/negative in any way.)
