    Marvel blows now.

I just finished reading Mighty Avengers 21 and that'll be my last issue of that series.

I'm interested to see where it all goes. Of course, it could go all in the shitter, but we'll see.

I still don't get why everything has to be such a big crossover event with Marvel these days... Can't we just have a break, go back to stories that don't have to conenct to every other title?

And considering that the main titles connected to it are $3.99 doesn't help either.

I'm aware of it. He was also a woman during an alternate reality. The Alex Ross one, universe x? I think there was 1 or two other incidents in continuity as well.

Mighty Avengers 21 is actually getting me to read that series. It's the first Avengers book I've read in years that actually feels like an Avengers book.

It wasn't that bad, I will say that, but I'm still in mourning that the original team is gone. It was probably the first time that Bendis was successful at writing a team book, and the series basicly became a Secret Invasion companion by issue 13. Also, since I'm not keeping up with the Hulk series, I have no idea why the Hulk is even there. Color me confused.

    here's your answer

so that saying, we should all stop buying...that way, this will stop.

and why's Amazing Spider-Man still going...i've been reading that the amount of titles sold is constantly going down....

They really need to stick Logan in one comic...cause he's sorta Dark Wolverine already in X-Force (if you want to call him that)

I'm digging the Iron Man tie in, also Dark Avengers, War Machine and Secret Warriors are pretty good.

I don't usually buy into events, but this is pretty cool.

One of my friends at the comic store has been trying to get me into Thor, both to recomend something good to read, and you know, part of his job. One of the major selling points he was using was that it was, basically, free from all the crossover madness.

I was intrigued, and after reading the first Thor trade, I was considering it.

Again Marvel, you're just proving me right. And not in a good way.

Also: as I said in other threads, I think this is actually I pretty awesome idea and I want to be excited for it, but I just can't. I'm burnt out.

So instead, I'm giving more money to IDW. How do you like that vote Joe?

So far Dark Reign has me interested. it's a huge event but so far it's only a title, not an actual book. It's just more of how each character is coping with the events that have unfolded rather than everyone being tied into it.

This week's THor was 50% reprint. It could easily have been a 2.99 issue. THey just added reprints[I DIDN"T WANT] and they upped the price. I almost (should have)put it back on the shelf If they keep this up with this and other books I will be sure to!.

They've been doing that for years. Remember the 100 pg Monster issues they were doing a few years back? Same friggin thing.

True but this was just unnessary as it was a regular issue, not a special or 1 shot.

It was special. They changed Thor back to the huge numbering of 600 because they realized relaunching a title is not more popular than having a really long ongoing. Technically Thor should have been the first 500 issue, not Fantastic Four. But stupid tricks always look good in the here and now.

Until they decide that Thor needs to be relaunched again to increase sales.

Which they have done twice so far. But that still doesn't beat Iron man at 3 relaunches and a second ongoing which turned into his main title which makes the total 4.
