    Just my take on the new DOTM Sideswipe. This guy REALLY needed a repaint.

    I wish they didn't make his front end the robot chest this time, unless they did in the DOTM movie too. I liked his red chest lights. ... eww, that sounded weird.

    I sprayed a gloss black base coat then sprayed the car parts chrome, then brush painted all of the robot parts and details.

    From his breif transformation scene from ROTF, his chest was always the front.

    Good to see the grey covered by that awsome silver! :jawdropper:

    Nope. Just watched it again, including his transformation in slow motion. His front lights in ROTF ended up on his wrists and the rear of the corvette was his chest. That's why he has red lights on his chest. Even his videogame model and orginal CGI renders show him with the tail lights on his chest.
    Yeah man that gray was dull.
