Good. This most likely means people are going to see this in iMax 3d, which is pretty dang costly, and that's the best way to view it.

Glad to see the public is getting behind it :)  I've already seen it twice, and it'll be good to show Mr Bay and Paramount that when they listen and fix things it works in their favour.

Awesome! I kind of consider a film to be a box office success once it makes twice its production budget, so if DotM's budget really was $195 million, it's only about $30 million away! (and then there'll be hundreds of millions more in box office sales like each of the previous two films)

I bet the numbers rose because many people remembered July 1st as the release date and the weekend was better than the weekday for everyone. Friday is skews a better day for everyone so that's why I think

I'm glad to see this movie doing well.

Although, it's no surprise considering how many TF fans have been created just from the movies alone vs. the regular Transformers fans that have been here the whole time. Alot of the regular fans seem to hate the movie franchise for the most part (sad, but true)

But I'm very glad Bay went out with a Bang. Now he'll chill on his island laughing at us all while reaping our monies. Bay is so awesome he even had an :bay  smiley made after him

and a cool song on youtube lol.

You can count on it. New director is a given, from what Bay says, but I'm a-okay with that. The film franchise will live on. I'd love it if the rumors of Spielberg himself stepping in were true.

I honestly hope it hits a billion, even if just to get us more toys.

Steven Spielberg in the director's chair could probably bring in an even bigger audience.

Exactly. He also has historically made more critically respected films, as well.

    Critics vs People

It tells us that critics have a different taste as us the "normal" people do.
This movie was awesome and whatever people say about plots and all that, the movie was able to surpass the other two and kept you entertained. Long life to Transformers.

could you imagine if it made 1 billion?

Think of the awesome stuff Hasbro could do for us then.

maybe they will apply more than 1 or 2 paint apps on their figures.

maybe they could even rerelease more tuner madflap and tuner skids. and yes 10-20 brand new BB and optimus prime repaints.

As much as I would enjoy a 4th film, I would really appreciate it ending with DOTM. I'd want to see Bay and Co. go out on top and then have a reboot years down the road. This will turn into a money pumping machine though ...
