I wanna start making a space for the Dotm figures and was wondering the amount of space I may need, and also the size of some figures. My request is that if Someone with ANY dotm figure (if you have more than one, I would REALLY appreciate it if you took pictures of all of them) could post a picture of that figure by a coke can or one of the transformers in my collection so I can get an idea of their size in robot mode??

    Please and Thank You

    My collection consists of:
07 concept Bee, Ironhide, Jazz, Blackout, scorponok, Starscream, Bonecrusher, Barricade w frenzy, D. Brawl, Wreckage.
    NEST D. Ratchet, Lockdown
Rotf Sideswipe, mudflap, skids, jolt, rampage, longhaul, ravage, Fallen

Again I would REALLY appreciate this. Thank You

It really depends on which figures you're getting. A specific list of ones that you plan to get at the moment would probably help anyone who wants to help you.

It pays to look at the size classes. It's not hard to gauge how much space you need from there. Concept Bumblebee is a great figure for your average deluxe.

lol I am mainly interested on the height, and I've been looking for comparisons of Dotm figures, and most are with dotm figures themselves, or with figures I dont have, so I would like to have an idea

One shelf for the figures, another two shelves for their Mech Tech bullshit.

I'm just the opposite. There are some that don't look bad. They are just to damn big and obtrusive. Like Omegus said "Don't sacrifice the figure for the gimmick." and on most of these figures, it looks like just that. :2c:

You remember back when the FOREST IRONHIDE (I forgot the actual name) and Brawn Came out?? And Hasbro started the little thread of interchangeable weapons (parts). I TRULY remember people on forums stating how much they loved this idea and all that. Turns out Hasbro DID listened but not in the way many asked for, there is CLEARLY a similarities between the interchangeable weapons and the new Mech-Tech. All I can say is "Be careful what you wish for"

Well the clip system is awesome. Small, unobtrusive and the best thing, no "action" gimmick. They have to make these weapons so damn big to fit the springs and other mechanisms in them, IMO, just ruins it. It will probably be popular with the kids, which is a good thing since that's who these are geared for lol.

Which is ok, between RTS and the ever stellar Generations we gotten, I can save some bucks on the DOTM. There are only a few which look like must haves.

Oh yea it was Jungle at first and the offical release was Recon IH.

Mudflaps AXE would go well with optimus, to give him a G1 reference. Man I wish Hasbro would sell the Mech Tech as add ons.
