Reason: I ended up getting Ironhide around the time he was just being released for a really cheap deal, hearing all the hype on him pushed me to own one, but once getting it in my hands, i was slightly disappointed, butt flaps, are flaps, glued head and the cannons. I was glad Hasbro finally gave us a big Ironhide, but i guess after seeing what they did to ROTF LDR Prime and Starscream, i got a bit spoiled, as i was walking to the Laptop to post him on ebay to get rid of him, i saw Frenzy Rumble, Zildjian, X-Cal, Encline and others Customs on this figure and they all looked beast. So i said why not, the hardest part of this was figuring out the color scheme. But i am fully inlove with how this all turned out and hop you all dig it too. *Added a Ball joint neck *Articulate hands with custom made knuckles *Re-Positioned chest, calve wheels and redesigned the entire back *Custom made chest plate *Plastic bits added to the legs and feet to give it a more accurate movie feel *Scratch built Arm cannons *Custom made and painted Rifle w/ grenade launcher & Custom made Automatic machine gun with scope built from scrap parts and Banana clip *Krylon Fusion Banner red for the base coat *Model Master Chrome Black added and buffed to hood of the GMC Topkick *Testor’s One Coat Lacquer spray “Inca Gold” for the G1 throwback *Robot parts were Sprayed In ultra flat black, dry brushed in 6 different shades of silver from gun metal to metallic *Thigh flaps and chest were primed in Ultra flat black, dry brushed in gunmetal and hit with a bone white *Chrome Black and gloss black paint on the rims to give it a black alloy feel *Silver dry brush apps to base color to give of realism *Then all sealed in Future Finish *Due to the mods, he is Non Transformable Before: (Courtesy Of Seibertron.com) After: Thanks for stopping by ya'll.
