Hello all. I'm new here, first post actually. I was encouraged to come join this site from another member that saw my work on eBay. I've made probably about 20 custom Transformers over the past few years and been here to the site a few times back when the RotF line was released but never signed up til today.

Anyways, I know I won't be posting here everyday or anything , but just when I've got a new Transformers custom to show off, and check out some of the great customs that are on here.

Okay, on to my first DotM custom repaint:

    DELUXE CLASS BUMBLEBEE

    Details for this custom :

    * Repaint using high quality paints to feature a more screen accurate film appearence.

    * Most visible screwholes that distract for the sculpt and the holes for the Mechtech weapon on the arm guards have been filled in with Apoxie Sculpt to better represent film accuracy: Mechtech weapon can still be attached using a modification to the weapon.

    * Modified head from the orignal mold.

    * Removed the "window netting" from the orignal mold.

    * Water slide decals used for the Autobot symbol on the head and the two license plates.

I currently have this up for sale on eBay and can be found in the link for more pictures.
I read throught the forum rules and didn't see anything against promoting customs for sale, but if it's there and I missed it, I appoligize and will makes edits if need be.

Thanks for looking and any feedback you have.

Love the looks. He looks so movie accurate in robot mode, it's almost as if he was just in a fight and after kicking some Decepticon butt, he climbed out of the screen.

The rims in DotM are black rather then the chrome/silver in the first 2 movies.

I actually used Tamiya Color "Smoke" paint over silver to give a black chrome look, but on the final product it just looks like a semi gloss black in person.

Thanks for all the comments so far.

the level of attention of detailing is fantastic, being a deluxe figure. is he an entire repaint? that yellow looks great. either way, very very nice. and good luck on the auction.

I picked up Nitro Bee. I think you would really like his feet for this.

The eyes creeps me out a bit too but the paint apps and battle damages are great!

Awesome work, and welcome to the boards!

My only suggestion would be to paint the majority of his "eyeballs' black and then just leave small dots of blue/white in the middle to represent his actual optics. I think this better captures the look of the onscreen model. :)

Thanks for all the feedback and the feedback/critiques on the eyes. I didn't think they were "creepy", but I would have maybe said too "bugged out", LOL

But, they did bother me a little before hand and considering the feedback, I've redone them; hopefully they look better now:
