Does any one want the constructicons to return or do you think that they have been over used?
i want see technobots and arielbots and dinobots
I wouldn't be surprised if we do see them return, as drone characters to save money/time again.
Overused? This isn't a bash because I enjoy the movies... but I don't think ANY of the bots have been overused in these films. Except for maybe Bumblebee.
As for the Constructicons specifically, I don't think any of them got nearly enough screen time in ROTF. I guess Scavenger/Demolisher and Rampage had some great moments, but Long Haul had cameos and Mixmaster was barely there!
i would lvoe to see them added as well bring in more chaos and destruction!! if bay was smart he would reuse them.
give us a aerial bot and constructicon showdown or even a werckers and contructicon one!
If it means getting toys of the missing ones...
This. I'd like to see Hightower, Overload and Scrapper come back at least... that way we can hopefully get figures of them.
C'mon man, at least throw a "?" at the end of that thread title.
I guess. I mean isn't the Long Haul repaint Payload supposed to be a army builder toy.
I thought they were underused.
Another Constructicon thread? Really?
I don't particularly want them back, simply because if they come back, it'll be as drones to fill out crowd scenes, and if that happens, people will just complain about them not all having voices and unique personalities.
Haha, I guess someone got all excited thinking this thread contained actual pictures of DOTM Constructicons.
I sure as hell wouldn't mind, let me see more of that Scrapper design! Or Overload, the only surviving constructicon.
no constructicons or dinobots or ect
I felt the constructicons were underused in ROTF
the film built them up over various appearances through the film but the end result was not satisfactory.
Even thought I hate the way Devy was portrayed in ROTF, I would really like to see the Constructicons return in DOTM and see them fight a little more in their seperate robot modes before merging into Devy.
Took a lot of CGI ($) to put them onscreen, it's amazing they were used at all.
No. I'd like to see the few Decepticons we have confirmed right now really kick some ass and kill off a few bots when they go down.
In movie one, you have small cast of cons that were all amazing. Starscream, Brawl and Blackout were badasses, Megatron killed Jazz, Frenzy was key to the plot, and Barricade was just epic on his own.
The you have Revenge of the Fallen, where you have the big boys like Megs, Screamer and Soundwave, and then a bunch of nameless henchmen that are the other decepticons, and they get cannon fodder treatment.
No, I'd rather have a small cast that way the writer has to be a bit more delicate and creative with character deaths, instead of Epps and Lennox calling in an Air Strike that wipes out the whole Decepticon Army.
I did too. The title is misleading.
This times five.
Overhaul is begging for a toy, I mean look at this:
Separate names with a comma.
