Here's a work in progress of a custom James Gordon figure. Still have a ways to go.

Head is from a Sirius Black figure. I removed the hair and beard and repainted the face. The hair is re-sculpted using green stuff. Still need to bulk up his hair a little more and then paint it. The glasses are from a Hiro (from Heroes) figure.

The body is from an X-Files movie Mulder figure.

Having fun working on this one. Feel free to comment if you like. I value your input.

Thanks, Tony. Glad you like it so far. Just added a shot of the full figure. Not sure if I'll change the color of the suit and tie yet.

Great sculp there! If there is one thing I may add, the head feels a lil' large for the body in the 3rd pic, but apart from that it reeks of AWESOME sauce!

The Sirius Black head was already a great likeness of Oldman. I was worried I'd mess it up by removing the beard, but the likeness stayed pretty much intact. The trick now is to get the Gordon hair right.

I understand what you and Ashstar are saying. Oldman does have a pretty large dome, though.

I guess if I find a slightly larger body, I'll use it. This head would probably look pretty good on a modified Scarecrow body. It's a hair bigger than the Mulder body. Just not sure I want to drop the money for another Scarecrow. I'm getting ready to leave for vacation so I guess if I find one while shopping, I might pick another up. For now, I guess the Mulder body will have to do.

I wonder if part of the problem with the Mulder body is that the pants are hiked up so high on his waist, making the shirt seem smaller. Perhaps adding a little length to the bottom of the shirt and lowering the belt line would lessen the perceived scale problems.

Blown away with the sculpting!!! I just do not think the body works. I have an extra scarecrow body. I took the head off of a thug and that is what I am using for scarecrow.
