While roaming the internet I found this awe inspiring concept Tf art

So in recognition of this I am going to build and model this into a fully transformable figure. {this is my first scratch build figure, so any help would be appreciated.}

the subject looks REALLY epic, but what will it transform into? 

 

I'm thinking of doing the alt mode as a cybertronian VTOL [vertical take off and landing] craft {and possibly a metallic spider as well}. At the moment though I'm working on the fingers {of which each needs to be done separately. I have another ROTF scalpel to rip apart for the other hand when I'm ready to start work on that. I'll be posting an update later today to show the progress I have made}

 

added a pic of the basic hand/claw to the first post of this thread. {the newly added green stuff putty parts will be carved into shape once they are fully hardened. I also used another leg from an ROTF scalpel as a thumb. Oh and each finger and the thumb do still possess a good range of movement.}

 

Added a pair of feet from a KO gundam to the base. {first post updated with pic}

I love how you started this! Great idea on using Scalpel's legs for a hand/claw. Best wishes towards this project! I can't wait to see it finished!

 

Updated, with new pic showing the second hand I have added to the figure. I have the head and some transformation specific parts to add before I start on adding detail. {and thus sculpting every single armour piece needed onto the figure.}
