Hello fellow Radicons, here is a wacky build I am almost finished with. This piece got its start because I was so inspired by MasterxBlaster's G1 Blaster with working speakers that I had to build one for myself. I didn't have the cash to pick up a spare G1 Blaster so I decided to make a bot from different figures and parts I had lying around. I decided to make my own version of Computron as a Decepticon and gave him a sort of insecticon inspired paint scheme. The paint scheme is just something I wanted to try and experiment with. I added many paint details to the body and tried cell shading the entire piece. I added a speaker system that has a built in re-chargeable battery and a usb charger port. The figure is fully poseable and stands about 16-1/2" tall. His head is on a ball joint and has an on and off switch for the visor light. This piece was painted in all HOK Kandys, bases and clears. I will be posting more pics soon. I hope you like it and please feel free to comment.
I always like picking out the recognizable parts of customs. I can see Kre-O ball joints for the shoulders, Classics Seeker mold-bits on the left arm and left leg, Cybertron Metroxplex's thighs and some of his legs, and some bits of his feet... I want to say that drill actually came out from Cybertron Supreme Starscream's afterburner...
Yes to Kre-O balljoints and the Seeker mold bits L and R arms/legs. The feet have no metroplex parts in them. The drill is not starscreams afterburner. You have got most of it right so far, Care to take another guess?
He is a non transforming bot. The arms do deperate from the balljoints but do not transform. This is just a fully poseable action figure speaker system for a phone,ipod,mp3 player etc.
So,wait,I'm a little confused as to why the speaker needs a battery charge. If you have a USB port for a device plug in,why the battery?Or is it to charge the light?Cool concept and I like the paint apps to be sure.
