Made from Hasbro 20th/DVD edition Optimus Prime.
I added extra long smokestacks, painted gun flat black and added weathering details.

Its funny you did this because just the other day i was talking to a guy who saw the auction on ebay for the first version, and we said how cool it was but it would be so much better if the optics was exposed too...two days later what happens?  

Simply fantastic work man! I sitll think you need to do a dead prime on the bed diorama though. This got me emotional...seeing your version of a dead greyed out prime will have me in tears i bet.
