...good. Just saying. Doubt there is any positive feedback from this being done. There has got to be technical reason for doing this, otherwise- It was NOT broke, why would anyone try and fix it.

Is there any possible way to get it changed back?

Yes, it was a technical thing, and no, we are not going to be able to roll it back. It's tied into some other very essential bits of upgrades, there was no way to split off the bad (social group changes) from the good.

Damn, thats what i figured. As long as it benefits the site.........But i can tell you the social groups have become soo much more than when were first started. A lot of members populate those groups and visit them way more than the actual public forums themselves. Kinda sad that the social groups do have to suffer here, and no, there is no way to polish this turd. Owell, we are not happy.

It was either that, or cut them completely. Take what you can get.

I am aware, not happy with it either. While upgrading the backend of the forum software, this was part of it. To change it back would require ripping the code apart and recoding it manually. No one in the forum software's community has done that, and I do not have the time (and probably skill set) to do it myself.

So yeah, sorry about it, but not much that could be done. The other upgrades were necessary.

Wow, ok. Nice tone there. Thanks brah.

I figured it was for the best of the forum, just stating the opinion of many. And sometimes opinions aint good. No biggie. We' ll find a way to take what we can get and make it work the best we can. But if it ever comes down to getting rid of the social groups completely, please let me know. Thanks to the mods that actually explained to me what was going on.

    :lol

C'mon man, you open a post like that and complain about tone?

No one likes it, and Tony is doing the best he can. We are ALL taking what we can get. I don't like it either.
