I had no idea the hands didnt come out all the way, i figured a simple click was supposed to lock it into place, well the hand is now sitting on my desk busted up. damn im angry, im hoping to replace it at Botcon for a reasonable price. aside from that Lockdown is a truly awesome figure

Sorry to hear that. All the reports of breaking/QC issues made me decide to wait until they're in stores.

Lockdown's the only one with consistant reports of problems, though. Considering he's got the highest price tag now, I'd much rather wait until I can get one at Walmart with quickie exchanges than deal with internet returns and such.

Sometimes, superglue is a miracle worker. Try that, unless its shattered beyond repair. Everyones had problems with the legs, even the packaged, and I guess hands now.

I'd actually recommend epoxy for the repair. It holds a lot better than super glue.

Like I posted in my feedback thread, I broke Lockdown's left hand off the first time I transformed him. Luckily, it was easily repaired with super glue. I don't know why Hasbro made his hands like this; they look bad and they break easily. I think it was Peaugh who suggested removing some small pieces of plastic from the backs of Lockdown's hands to make them rotate all the way out without breaking, something that should have been done in the first place.

Sorry to hear about that. Yeah, **it happens. You should be able to easily find a replacement at Botcon.
    Good Luck!

Man, I'm glad somebody hooked you up for a reasonable markup. It's really cool that people are willing to do that for other fans.

It's not QC. It's design. It would be QC if it were broken out of the box. If it breaks because of something that is done to it, it's not quality control. It's a pity that it seems strangely designed though, because by all rights it looks like his hand should go out a lot further than it really can.

lol yeah thats what i thought when i broke him. anyway i just modded my new Lockdown so his hands fold out all the way. On a brighter side. since i broke my 1st Lockdown I now have 2 EMP weapons so I can give one to Ratchet when I get him.

I love me some animated bring on wave 2 baby

The left leg on my lockdown pops off any time i try to pivot the ball joint. For some reason, the right leg does not have this problem. So far The fixes suggest have been to put scotch tape or nail polish over the ball joint, neither of which worked in the slightest. Is there another known solution to this? I've heard a lot of complaints about the legs, so there's got to be another fix floating around that I haven't tried yet.
Also, could someone with a modded LD hand take some pics of exactly what they cut out so I have a better idea of what I need to do to get the hands on mine to work better?
    thanks!

i had the same problem with both my lockdowns. the damn left leg kept falling off. aside from the nailpolish thing a squeezed the piece of the leg that hooks up to the ball joint with a pair of needlenose pliers.

so you took the entire socket in between the pliers and squeezed that in? Or did you grab each side and bend them in individually?
