    He dies offscreen and only gets a single sentence of acknowledgement. Grimlock says "Where is Sludge?" and Slug says "He didn't even make it out of the cage."

    This disappoints me greatly.
    Sludge is the coolest.

    Of course, unless he shows up in the last level.

    Sorry for the double-post but...

    Jazz said that Sludge was statis-locked, not offline. He even accessed his memory. I think they on purposely made him still alive, but unable to be in the story.

    Hmm, I thought he removed the last of Sludge's power to fuel the memory, thus putting him to sleep forever (DED). I remember seeing his lights flicker off as Jazz moves away.

    I'm pretty sure it's safe to say he will be back, as he is on the cover at least of the Dinobots comic that is supposed to bridge the gap from FOC to TF Prime, so... there is that!

    I'm going to have to vote for him still living. Jazz just says he is in stasis lock and taps into his memory. I didn't see any indication of Sludge being prenounced dead or meant to be (other than being super beat up). Its hard for me to think Hasbro would kill off an iconic team member of the Dinobots.

    Perhaps the
    great amount of damage and extensive time in unregulated stasis-lock
    could leave Sludge mentally impaired (moreso than Grimlock)
    if he gets revived.

    Funny, because usually when the Dinobots are revamped places he's the first to go. I mean, Grimlock and Swoop are always there, as well as a Slag stand-in. But no non-existed sauropod stand-in.
