ok what is dairycon and what toys have they had and how is the quality?
Umm....Are you talking about those little McDonnalds toys that were these things that transformed into little versions of things on the menu. Like there was one that went from a dino to a thing of frys. Other than those, I can't think of anything. Peace out.
Edit: Sorry, I had a blonde moment, I read the title, but didn't think to read what he was talking about. Peace out.
it's a convention.
You can get some answers if you want to ask in the WI Sightings thread, or PM some of the WI guys that thread, other than me, because I have not attended one.
Here are the toys. Keep in mind, a lot of these are customs that were never produced for people at the con.
Dairycon is awsome. Its a mini convention for Wisconsin Transfans. I went this year, and last year. The toys are awsome, considering its such a small convention, and its all free, just good luck finding most of the exclusives, as I still need the rest of the Storm Sword bits. Or for more info, like Savanna said, PM one of the WI members, or ask in the WI sightings. Or, of course, you could go to the Dairycon Website.
I like the Cow deco Huffer. Shouldn't his trailer be a Gateway or dairy trailer?
Yeah, too bad Heffer was limited to only 5, and the one that got sold went for like $80 at the con, If I recall correctly.
this thread makes me lol
You and Savanna should join the DTF. We need more Madison people in it.
No, we need more Wausau people in it. There are only 2, and down in Madison, ther is what 4 or 5?
Well, I used to be Eau Claire-Wausau-Fond Du Lac-Wausau-Eau Claire, then finally Madison.
And I remember how crappy the stores alone were in Wausau back those many years.
They are still very crappy. The only good place for me to get TFs now is Target, which is on the other side of town, or online. Oh, and if you would ever head up this way, give me a call, or something, me and my friend get lonely.
Thanks for the nice words about the toys. I will have some of them at the customizing class at Botcon, sans packaging. Including the complete StormSword and the even rarer green prototype StormSword (only 2 exist...I have one, and Karl Hartman has the other). The production Heffer was based on an original idea from Jack (he makes our packages).
Shawn...makes toys for Dairycon.
If I Skied or did Snowboarding I might. But if I remember right Rib Mountain has not been good for it since about 96 or so.
They totally redid Rib a few years ago. I guess its huge now. I haven't gone up there to check it out yet. Then again, I literally live like 5 minutes from Tyrol Basin so I have no reason to go there.
Yeah, the changed the name now too. Its Granite Peak now, even though there is no granite on it. It has gotten a ton bigger, most of the side is all ski runs. I dont ski or snowboard that much, so I wouldnt know much about it. Oh, and Shawn, keep up the good work on the Dairycon toys, they are awsome! Cant wait to see next years stuff!
It looks like it was in April this year? Heck if that con was closer to Jan/Feb I would go, and then I could go skiing/snowboarding while I am up in WI...sounds like fun!
Separate names with a comma.
