    For Immediate Release.

One Week to Go before PreReg ends, folks! If you haven't already signed up for Dairycon 2012, you may well consider doing so after this. Dairycon Staffers today revealed what's in-store for those who PreRegister for the Con:

    The Future Dairycons!

    Oh. My. God. *FIVE* Figures?

Dairycon Staffers confirmed that, yes, there will be FIVE figures available to PreRegistrants who sign up for Dairycon.

    The figures from this reveal:
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Allegiance: Dairycon
    Name: Awesum Possum
    Function: Heroic Possum of Justice!
Quote: Watch Out, Felonious Ferret! Awesum Possum is Here!"
    Profile:
If Dairycons had nicknames, 'Lucky McLuck-Bot' would be his. Awesum Possum has the unique ability to have situations turn to his advantage... by simply being there. He always wins at gambling, always gets the girl, and rarely has to pull out his weapon, because, as he says, "luck is on my side" (whether it be an opponents' weapon malfunction, the enemy retreats, or the enemy suddenly just blows up...) High sense of fashion and popularity make him fun to be around. As he says, in his cheerful demeanor; "Life? It's always Awesum !"

    Abilities:
Awesum Possum has the standard complement of weapons, but his greatest ability seems to be luck. The improbable happens around him. Weapons won't lock onto him, secured doors cheerfully open at his touch, and evil villains gleefully tell him their entire scheme before leaving the room. When not in battle, Awesum Possum retires to the Awesum Cave with his trusty sidekick, Rally Rhino.

    Weaknesses:
Cupcakes. And porn. But not at the same time! He needs a paw free.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Allegiance: Dairycon
    Name: Rally Rhino
Function: Straight bot and Heroic Sidekick of Justice
Quote: "Don't mind me. I'll just stand over here and eat some thistles."
    Profile:
A Checkered Past led Rally Rhino to the Dairycon cause. But he's been there before! Once the heroic WashOut, a near-death experience caused him to find Primus, change his name, and give up drinking energon. Now eating only whole organic foods, Rally Rhino travels the universe preaching the Covenant, and of the dark times soon to come.

    Abilities:
Farting. Eating organic vegetables generates a lot of gas :)  Though oddly, talking to people about his Conversion seems to work just as well- enemies tend to turn their blasters on themselves rather than listen to another depressing monologue about soy oats.

    Weaknesses:
The irony of his own codename escapes him. Doesn't actually Rally anyone to his Cause. Bright, garish color scheme makes it hard to be, "in disguise."
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Allegiance: Dairycon
    Name: Burning Monkey
    Function: Groundskeeper
Quote: "Laugh! If it matters, I brought presents!"
    Profile:
Existing first in the future, Burning Monkey travels to the past- a past where he already exists! Recruited by Electrum Beast, can this earlier future version of Burning Monkey handle meeting his older self in the past? Will he evolve into the Leader he is meant to be? Will the timeline unravel? The mind boggles...

    Abilities:
As the youngest of the Future Dairycons, Burning Monkey has yet to develop his older past versions abilities (such as ApeScream, and Firetail) though he is known for his signature, 'Burning Monkey Punch'.

    Weaknesses:
Naive; easily taken advantage of. He is young and carefree, the kind that comes from having been online just a short time. It will be many years before he develops into the angry, cynical fellow he is destined to be.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Allegiance: Heroic Decepticon
    Name: Battle Bat
    Function: Battlefield Mortician
Quote: "Just pretend to play dead. You aren't pretending? Oh..."
    Profile:
Tired of losing every single fight he'd ever been in, this former partner of vorath switched sides and joined the Dairycon Cause. Now a calm, medatative hippie-type who comes off as just a bit morbid to his fellow 'bots, Battle Bat succeeds in his missions by examining the cause and manner of deactivation of Cybertronian life.

    Abilities:
Battle Bat has the ability to 'Mindwipe' his opponents during battle. Though a powerful tool in his arsenal, he mostly does it to get enemies to leave him alone so he can watch television. Able to enter a trancelike state and communicate with the sparks of long-deactivated Dairycons. This ability likely will come in handy in the future.

    Weaknesses:
Battle Bat exists in the now. Though he's never quite sure. He often loses track of things. Misplaced his gun. Can't find the exit to the CR chamber. His future plans are nebulous at best. Staying too-long in his meditative state causes him to experience his own involuntary systems shutdown.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Allegiance: Heroic Decepticon
    Name: The Cracker
    Function: Warrior
Quote: "Do I really speak with an aussie accent?"
    Profile:
Thund...er, 'Cracker' finally decided that 'enough was enough' and walked away from the Decepticon/Autobot conflict. The Cracker has never been fully convinced of the Decepticon cause, but wasn't a fan of the Autobot's 'goodie-goodie' nature, either. When his Spark was rescued and placed in a Vehicon aeroframe, he promptly joined a group of Dairycons exploring the unknown regions of space and time. If he Never sees his seeker-brothers or the OTFCC Wreckers again, it will be too-soon.

    Abilities:
One of the 'stars' of The Cracker's aresenal is his energy-draining weapon. Though it has never been deployed, the mere mention of it sends bots running. Enhanced aeroframe allows him to reach speeds unheard of. Sudden acceleration causes sonic booms in his wake, deafening and unbalancing opponents. He often shouts his signature, 'Crackin' Thunder!' just before the hit.

    Weaknesses:
Not as balanced on the ground due to irregular robot design. Prefers to hover in his altmode. Is even more unsure of his Cause now than he ever was with the Decepticons. But there's no turning back. The Dairycons are committed... and if he has to sit thru and watch his own history unravel, so be it.[/QUOTE]

No further information was given when we asked about how these would come (in a boxset, packaged individually, etc), however, they did say this:

Okay, I'm really glad that preregistrants are getting actual transforming toys. I'm guessing that it will be totally random as to which toy you'll get though.

Anyone want to trade their Cracker for an Action Master Ravage? lol..

Anyone looking to part with Barn or any of the previous year's Dairycon minibot exclusives?

I'm even interested in the Action Master Ravage if it's going cheap.

Ok, I LOVE the reference to Rally's/Checkers Rhinox toy here. Had me laughing for a good few minutes and remembering what a piece of crap that thing was.

    Nope. Tape-mode Ravage!

If dairycon serves a purpose - it's certainly one they fail to explain.
