I've received word that despite Botcon occuring the same weekend now, the Dairycon Committee is unable to move their date. So there will be 2 Conventions that weekend. The Official one in the South, and the Unofficial one in the North.

So for anyone that doesn't want to visit Texas (or can't), click here to find out more information.

    Thanks for the post Fender!

Dairycon is held in the city of Fond Du Lac, on the southern shore of Lake Winnebago, in the great cow-obsessed state of Wisconsin. It's being held at the city's largest indoor space, the Crystal Ballroom in the historic Ramada Plaza.

Sure, you *could* spend hundreds of dollars to go to some other show, but why?So, if Texas is out of the budget, too far away, or just not what you're looking for... why not consider the little ol' show called "Dairycon"?! ;)

Also, don't forget; friends, fun, games, events, cheap discounted hotel block, door prizes & drawings, & some very cool exclusives...
Oh, and let's not forget Dairycon's first annual "Alcove of Honor!"

Pre-Registration for Dairycon is now open & the Ballots for the Alcove of Honor are up now as well!

Dairycon is a great show to attend. If you are up in the area, I would highly recommend you stop by. Heck I flew up from AZ one time to go and it was a lot of fun.

I'll be there, helping Bill from JRS as usual and selling some of my own stuff. I'll be bringing my nephew, his gf and at least one other person. I've been going since '05 and looking forward to the show as always!

Have pre-reg confirmations been sent out? Just wondering because it's been over a week and I've not received anything, registration page says you'll be notified in 3 days or so.

I am looking forward to Dairycon as I have never been to it before. My friends want to come too and they are asking me if they have other items besides Transformers stuff. They are heavy into comics, star wars, gi joe, etc. Do dealers often have these items also, or is it exclusively transformers with not much else? Thanks for any information!

From what I've seen the usual dealers bring over the years, mostly TFs, but other sci-fi stuff wouldn't be frowned upon or unexpected. JRS does pretty well with the Doctor Who stuff year after year. Like most of these kind of shows, the fans aren't all *just* into TFs, but I wouldn't expect too much of a deviation from that. Hope this helps.

Actually, this year we have included the Cheesehead Garrison, a Wisconsin-based Star Wars fan group... :)

Star Wars-versions of our traditional TF-themed events, new attendees (and I assume dealers), and even an exclusive made with them in mind (to be revealed at the show)... So by all means, everyone's welcome to bring whatever they'd like! :)

Ya! A dealer list would be great! My friends are really interested in going, they love 80s action figures, and modern toys as well, so if a dealer list is available that would be great!
