Nope, not that I'm aware of. I was at my local one this weekend and nada ....
Picked up a Studio Series Ironhide from the Owings Mills Target. There are a couple Power Charge Bumblebees, Cassette packs, and Soundwaves from the new Bee movie, along with Energon Igniters.
Glen Burnie Target on Ritchie put out a PotP wave 1 leader case. Wave 1. Really?!
Just grabbed g1 devastator from golden ring Walmart! They have a ton left.
still a ton of reissue hot rods, starscreams and constructicons at Frederick Walmart
Germantown sold out of the constructicons fast and I gave up checking after 3 days of 12 in stock, come back tomorrow for starscream :/
Glen Burnie Walmart had 2 of each reissues on the shelves.
I now know why I haven't seen any posts regarding stuff found at the Glen Burnie Ollie's...because they postponed the opening due to construction issues. Still unknown as to when it will open
Wow!!! The scalpers must’ve went wild after seeing this post, because there is literally nothing there now.
Damn really? They were not with the other TFs. They were closer to the front of the isle.
Yep, GONE. There was a spot for them, it was just empty.
Germantown Walmart has three Hot Rods. No signs of Devy or Screamer. Germantown Target has one SS Ironhide, and a bunch of other bits and pieces.
does the brickseek link for screamer in Germantown still list 12?
Seriously, I went there 3 times in about 24 hours (night-morning-night) the day after I got Devy there. When I got Devy, stock was listed as 12, store gun scanner said they had 12. They motioned at the pallets of toys they had to unload. Went back next morning, pallets gone, screamer spot still empty. Went back that night, same thing.
Ended up grabbing him from Frederick (who also had hot rods and devy)
Honestly, I have no clue. I only saw the Hot Rods, didn't bother to check Brickseek. Why? Because whoever grabs those boxes off the pallet is either internal, or does something completely different to get the figures. For example, Walmart Exclusive Thanos. They still list as 6 in stock in that location. Nowhere to be found. I'm shocked you found Devy there.
I've gotten wise to the nonsense, which is why I don't frequent that Walmart that often, even though I'm literally five minutes from it. Because it's a hot load of garbage up in there. And tbh, I'd rather you all get what you want.
I'm pretty sure that those figures are probably gathering dust on a shelf in the warehouse area, forgotten because someone stocking the items put them in the wrong spot.
Saw that happen several times while working at Target.
Definitely know it happened at Toys R Us when some Cybertron and Universe figures showed up when they were going out of business.
I randomly found that Thanos among several Walmart Exclusive Black Panthers that were shoved on a shelf behind those giant Marvel/Halo/DC figures with 5 points of articulation at the Sykesville Walmart. Only one though.
As of posting, Arbutus Walmart is pretty well stocked on vintage figs.
This is the Towson Walmart as of right now. Of note: 3 Devastators.
Walmart has the new SS Deluxes and loads of re-issues.
Target has the new SS Ratchet and orange Lockdown.
Kmart still has a few TLK figures.
They also now have latest wave of SS deluxe. Shadow Raider, VW Bee, and Ratchet
Just stopped by Walmart on my way home from work just to see if there is any hilarity going on there still. Had 1 Devy left, tons of Hot Rods and more terror cons than you can shake a stick at (both voyager and deluxes)
Brickseek is still claiming 12 screamers, walmart.com is claiming 6 in stock (not valid for buy and pickup tho). Shelf still empty. That place is such a hot mess all of the time
I bought the Devastator reissue and couldn't be happier.
After reading some of the reactions to the plastic quality I was pretty nervous. Opening it with my Encore Anime v. right there for comparison had me thinking... these actually feel pretty identical. The main problem is that the new reissue strips all of the die cast out which DOES make it seem lighter.
If you've never handled a G1 Devastator I highly recommend picking up the set if for no other reason than combined mode.
He's super solid.
I completely agree! I had a personal reason to make sure I got the set, but the lack of diecast did concern me. It still turned out great and I was even happier to have him than I thought I'd be.
So I do tick the "sightings" box for this thread....The Dundalk Walmart is pretty bare this morning. A couple of the 1 step changer BB figures, some BB movie legends, the standard Terrorcon wave 3 and 2 G1 Hot Rod reissues(why do they seem to keep using him?). For Star Wars people, there was this black series stormtrooper that was all dirty and looked to have a battle worn deco to him. It didn't have a number on the side, but said "Mimban" instead and the side was a greyish color and not red. There were quite a few of them there.
