As awesome as cyclonus is, his backend in vehicle mode just seems incomplete. Am I transforming him wrong? If someone can answer we could turn this thread into one about vehicle modes that seem unfinished.

The vehicle mode for that figure is crap. Nothing can be done about it without going to extreme measures.

Might want to be a little less vague, or include a picture. Otherwise, not a lot can be said...

As long as you're talking about the classic/generations mold....seems like the alt mode was an afterthought. I'm fine with my G1 version though.

There's more than one Cyclonus figure.

But assuming it's the Universe one, it's a compromise: gappy fuselage for sexy legs.

Yeah, but that's definitely a worthy trade off.

I do own the figure, and I still don't know what you're talking about. Like I said, a little more explanation of why you think it looks unfinished/bad, or visual aids, would help a lot.

Only from certain angles does his vehicle mode seem ok. Otherwise, yes, I agree on the fact that his cybertronian jet seems rather incomplete. You would think his legs would connect together to fill that hole but, none the less, they don't.

They'd have been sexy legs if he had a more traditional telescoping leg transformation.

Honestly, I love both modes. The feet are kinda derpy, but whatever. Unless you're retarded or stuck with a faulty figure, the jet still fits together & looks like it should.

I did something similar to mine. I glued a tab to the underside of Night Stick's barrel so it would plug into the hole on top of Cyclonus and rest over his legs.

I have Classics Cyclonus, and I have no idea what you are talking about.

Eh, I think it's worth it for them to try something new. Not only is the different transformation pretty novel, telescoping legs can backfire pretty hardcore (see: Titanium Soundwave). It's nice to see them trying something new.

With you dude. I sort of see it, but not to the extent that others are talking about. I think it's a perfectly charming little spacejet.

Agreed. I assume that people mean the gap in the legs when seen from above, or the fact that his feet don't really do much of anything when they fold up, but neither bugs me at all.
